    He basically said nothing other than Van Dijk was staying.

    Also said that Scepovic had a medical in Paris on Saturday and terms were agreed, and he spoke to him on Saturday night and everything was fine but then he cancelled the deal.

    Saw him on crying about Scepovic ending the deal earlier.

    Surely he should have been busier working on our Plan B. He didn't let an entire penniless summer boil down to a deal with a Serbian striker from a Spanish second division side, did he? Inept all round.

    The guy only asked him about Scepovic and Van Dijk.

    About Scepovic he said a medical had been done, terms agreed and work permit arranged and he spoke to him on Saturday night and everything was fine, then he cancelled the deal.

    Said that Van Dijk was staying, he had nothing to add to what Ronny said yesterday.

    Then that was it, nobody asked him about any other sales or signings.
