He did in an interview with channel 67 saying that he recognized the need to get more physical in his game. He knows this and is in our training system at 20 trying to adapt.

He has undoubted technical ability rivaled by only a handful of scots (I can think of 4-5). Why not allow him the chance to evolve into a player.

    Who the * this ^^^

Try getting a team in your own country to support before you start getting on our backs. Glory hunting basterds over there.

Just because KI hasn't broken into the team yet dosen't mean he won't in the future.

Anyway a korean using glasgow patter strange:97:

Seriously, it's this kind of attitude that has us playing n'gummy bear and brown every week.

I don't know if anybody remembers, but there was this guy used to play for us went by the name Nakamura, he was pretty lightweight and seemed to do ok. :86:

I know they're not the same player, but Ki's actually a good few inches bigger than Naka (ooh errr missus:52:) so I don't see it being a problem long term, if at all.

Being too lightweight is a load of pish if the player has an ounce of skill and composure.

off with ya, ya wind-up merchant.

I'll back Ki (and basically most other youngsters at the club) as a work in progress that for all we know could come great for a few more years. Its at 23 or so that I start to think the fellas should move on if they haven't contributed yet.

Really like the look of Ki, if he's going out on loan give him to an SPL or Championship team even just for 6 months to get some regular games then I reckon we'll have a cracking player on our hands

Yep, judging by alot of the fans attitude on here, Leo Messi would be a complete failure here in the SPL...

I would loan him out because he is never going to make it here. He is too lightweight and loses possesion of the ball easily.

Ki is the Japanese version of Donati :bbpd:

I never quite understand the whole Messi being a lightweight. I watch Barca regulalrly and he can hold his own, push it about against bigger guys.

As for Ki he can well make it at Celtic but he really needs to hit the gym and put on a bit of weight. He is a skillful lad and needs some games against some physical sides to adapt to the greater emphasis on physical strength. One for the future.

Too soon to punt him on! Even if it is a loan deal!

Shocking, you must be a Ki Sung-Yueng expert, considering the fact that he is from South Korea. And Scott Brown is considered lightweight and I think he might have lost possession one or twice this season  at least Ki is technically gifted, a free-kick expert and can make things happen in midfield instead of running around like a headless chicken.

He needs to adopt into scottish style and football, and can't see him getting closer to 'the scottish way', playing in turkish football. I would prefer to letting him go to a Championship-club.

Anyone who has already written off a 21 year old, who is still adapting to the change in country, never mind the change in football - need to stop and think for a minute.

I would let him go on loan to an SPL club or division one (with a clause that he can't play against us). If we're going to allow Ki' to go on loan, it should be in Scotland - where he can continue adapting to Scotland and the Scottish game.

I wouldn't mind if he went on loan to the championship either mate. The style of football is rough and tumble like the SPL and he can continue adapting to life in Britain.

I think he has a better chance of adapting at Celtic to be honest mate.

i'll give him a chance in the hoops not played that much to judge yet, but if hes just going to sit and rot away on the bench,A-i would sell him as its a waste of wages,B-its not fair on youngsters wasting there time
