Looking for a lynch on Day 1, is a Town tactic Tbf... not one I necessarily agree with but it can provide some decent info..

Yep, but it’s still reasonable to be a wee bit frustrated when someone who’s probably on your team seriously harms your chances of winning said game.

@Minty Bear in mind that you were prepared to risk lynching a town player out of frustration - that is no different to me.

 

Exactly, to save myself and have any weight behind my claims, I needed to role claim and character claim.

Every lynch is a risk. I obviously want to lynch scum only. There’s a difference between taking a punt on a lynch on the first day and lying about investigation results.

 

See my post above. Apologies if you are town, mate, but it is only a game - why not take a risk to make it more entertaining, as you were prepared to do?

 

I only wanted to see reactions; I would have spoken up if you were in danger of being wrongly lynched.

 

You did reveal quickly mate but then Vert has basically sabotaged you and an important role. Only thing I’ll say is you didn’t really need to reveal your character, it’s better keeping them secret for when it comes round to scum trying to claim characters.

 

There’s risks and there’s that.

I revealed quickly, because from my perspective, it looked like a scum player was lying about an investigation to try and get a quick lynch.

I’ve accepted that Vert is likely who he says he is, unless someone counterclaims.
