He doesn't. He was stupidly brought on as subs at times but has retired now

 

lol new this would strike a reaction, i agree that messi is skillfull and can finish but he is not that fast but quick with the ball at his feet ( mabye it looks that way because he is small

 

You can't say he is overrated though!! It's not so muc about reactions, it's matter of fact. He could well become the best in history.

 

when you look at all the strikers in england heskey should never have got near that first team he is garbage and has always been mediocre at best.

I find houlliers comments today astounding, heskey has never been and never will be remotely any where near as good as drogba

Sorry, none of these players are anywhere near the standard lionel messi is at.. Not even Ronaldo who is the only player close to his ability.

 

thats your opinion mate, and i'll respect that but this is simply not so how did messi perform at the WC? you are making him out to be superman which he is not his ability is up there but there ARE people on par.

 

Them players play in different positions, you can't compare them. They probably are only or near to the level of Messi in the media/status aspect.

Not as well as he would have hoped but he's young and will be there again.

How did he perform for the rest of his whole career?

messi is a great player but he is only a player , i look forward to seeing what sort of player he will become. i think i should leave it at that you wont see my side of it so i'll leave it there.

 

You can't compare players in different position. But he has the most natural ability with the ball that hasn't been seen for years. I appreciate good footballers but Messi is on another level.

OMFG!!!, Casillas?, really?, quite possibly the most overated keeper in the world,yes flashes of brilliance but far too many mistakes, and he's soooo poor at cross balls, not even nearly the best in his position imo, people need to watch him more often, as for messi even the rest of the names mentioned arent on par with him

 

No-one is deisrespecting anyone. Its just Messi is a level above the world class players like Gerrard,Rooney,Ronaldo,Xavi,Iniesta etc.
