Mad that he could next year considering for about 6/7 years initially he struggled with injuries so much, off the top of my head so might be wrong here think he didn’t play 30 games after his breakout season until BR came in. 2010 to 2016 that’d be. Since then and when he actually got his injury issues looked at and we made adjustments for it, and obviously work he put in as well, he was always available for 5 years or so. And they five years are probably as many appearances as the other ten years, if I had to guess, can’t be arsed checking if I’ve got a totally wrong guess :56:

He’s averaged 28 matches a season in the last 5 seasons.
It’s even possible going by that average that he could catch the legendary Celtic player the late great Jimmy Johnstone by end of next season

Forrest, if he plays remaining 2 matches this season will finish in 21st place on list.

Just wish the other Celtic based web pages would put accurate figures for both Forrest and CalMac

Just realised that if Forrest plays last game of this league season plus cup final then he could join the top 20 list on flag day next season.

Let's not forget Forrest drew level today with Charlie Shaw, Celtic's greatest ever 'keeper.

And when he reaches 500 he will equal Celtic’s, Scotland’s and Britain’s greatest ever goalscorer

Just think that their honours were as players.
Billy McNeill can add 8 trophies as manager giving him 1 more than the 30 trophies Willie Maley had and 5 more than the combined total of 26 Big Jock had.

    How’s this for fate.
If Forrest plays first 5 matches of the season he will reach his 500th appearance against the scum at Celtic Park.

If you are combining McNeill's manager tally to his playing tally to be 31, then you need to do the same for Maley also, which would take his tally up to 34, as he won 3 league titles (1892/93, 1893/94 & 1895/96) and 1 Scottish Cup (1892) as a player in addition to the 16 League titles and 14 Scottish Cups during his managerial career.

1 more match and Forrest equals Alec Thomson and Bertie Peacock and enters top 20.
2 matches and he levels with Bobby Murdoch in 18th on list and 4 matches makes joint 17th with Celtics top scorer Jimmy McGrory on 500 appearances.
By end of this season he may be overtaken by Cal Mac

Hope the GB are planning something for Forrest against the huns assuming Brendan plays him next 3 matches.
