I just don't rate the kid at all, he is decent but nowhere near the level we need.

I predict you'll see him at anther SPL club by the end of the season.

I thought Oostende had gone the way of the Huns but I must have been thinking of Germinal Beerschot (Wanyama's old club).

Does anyone here honestly see him coming back from his loan spell and being given a run in our team? He'll more than likely eventually be sold for next to * all, whilst we keep throwing cash down and paying wages to players like Miku, Lassad and Bangura.

We'd rather spend almost £2 million on someone like Balde than say "wait, we have a guy already in the ranks who has done a very good job thus far with what time he's been given. Let's give him a shot instead".

yeah sadly i think you could be right

this country the uk has been dreadful to the 99 percent of people in the uk with a lack of dicipline, teaching responsibility, education and training in future job skills and then you've got the deterioation in the family that has been going on unabated for 30 to 40 years with no attemempt at fixing the issues

all these social problems magnified means our professional businesses and football clubs would rather spend the money and take the chance on a foreigner whose country hasn't gave up on it's people like the UK governments consistently have

the UK has ruined generations of young people from thatchers policies right upto the present camerons

Think you're jumping the gun here mate. Tony is off on loan to a league which is on a higher standard that the Scottish premiership. He is also off to a team who a short on strikers. It's all up to Tony to prove that he is truely a good striker who is worthy of playing for Celtic.

This move has been set up on a plate for him to both succeed and return to Celtic- and as a better player.

Well Lierse only have 1 win from 6 games so far, so i'd be happy with 10-15 tbh.

hopefully he will come back a player with a better awareness of who and what is going on around him liam miller came back a better player only he seen the bright lights of Manchester then they dimmed on him and he became another casualty of football and disappeared into anonymity.

I just have high hopes for him. Not sure why. Its not just because of the Barca goal, either. Although that put him down into Celtic folklore for all time to come. Hopefully the loan does him some good and he comes back a sharper player

He will score more goals then all of their players combined.

I thought with Gary Hooper gone and no real replacement he should have been given a run out with the first team at the SPL level this season to see how he partnerships with Stokes or Pukki. But Im not the manager and hopefully the loan does him some good

To be honest, I think Watt being sent out on loan is a test from Lennon - show you've got the CHARACTER and positive attitude to go to another country, another culture and better yourself - if you do that, you'll go far.

I think - going from what I've read into - is that Watt got a bit of the billy-big-baws attitude after his goal v Barca (not saying it's true, but I think it could very well be)..

Definitely hope that Watt does make a successful return from Belgium and goes on to be a mainstay in our team for years to come.

    Just cant get enough
Spl just doesn't suit his game.. He's a player more suited to running in behind, and down the channels. In the SPL there's no room for him to do that, so unless he realises this and adapts his game to suit he won't make it here. Also as a young player trying to impress, I think he should be trying a lot harder when he's playing. sometimes h comes across as if he thinks he's made it already.

interesting interview with petrov n he was saying how KD used to give him 10 games and say to him, its ok if u have a couple of bad games, it happens, I just want you to go out and give it your best. He was also touching on the subject of how he would recommend any young player going out on loan as it gives you the kick up the * you need (depending on your overall attitude I assume)

I think this loan spell will be good for him but I honestly thought he would be kept in the ranks to step in .... Due to our lack of fire power right now.

I am Putting him in the same category as Niall McGinn.

Not going to get enough starting appearances to prove his worth.

A think if he stayed and got a good run he would of excelled. Fast and direct. Caused problems when ever he played.

But he wasn't going to get a game, so this is the best move for him and us. Hopefuly he does well over there the experiance will make him a better player no doubt about it.

He was acting like an idiot, going out all the time and just not focused on improving himself. My pal is his best mate. So he's been sent on loan to get away from Glasgow and concentrate on his football
