    In the next few weeks, he'll be fully fit and have a better understanding with the players. If they can get the ball to him that bit quicker, he'll do ok.

    Lierse tried to keep this out of the media but the journalist wanted the sensation scoop.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>
    Not good for the club. Not good for the team. Even worse for Tony.<o:p></o:p>
    No panic however. Menzo and the rest of the technical staff haven’t given up hope.<o:p></o:p>
    But he has to understand that he isn’t a star in Belgium yet.<o:p></o:p>
    And that the manager is the boss…<o:p></o:p>

    Just a genuine question: do you have contacts within the club (because otherwise you cannot know this)?

    Here's a rough translation of that article for anyone who's interested;

    It's also worth noting though that this Menzo character has a history of being a tough *. He's sent players home for showing up for training late it would seem.

    It has to be said, Watt's not the only Lierse player making the headlines. Menga pronged three cars when he crashed his own the other day!

    Boy needs a reality check, desperately. He is in damger of throwing a promising career away. Should lock him in a room with Charlie Mulgrew and he can let him know the exact reality of life outwith Celtic.

    If he can’t make it at Lierse he will surely not make it at Celtic.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>
    But relax. No panic.<o:p></o:p>
    Father Watt stays at Tony’s in Lier to sort things out.<o:p></o:p>
    He and the club do everything possible to get him in line and performing according to his obvious talent.<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p> </o:p>
    The accident you referring to is Dolly Menga’s. (wrecking 4 cars)
    This youngster has made since this incident an obvious change of mind, with better match performances as a result.<o:p></o:p>
    <o:p> </o:p>
    Your criticism to Menzo is ridiculous and based on nothing, Dáibhí.
    Stanley does everything he can to get Tony on the right track.<o:p></o:p>

    Sounds like it.

    I honestly thought that this move would be the making of him - by all accounts it doesn't appear to be going that way.

    I'd rather now he was brought back where our coaches can try and get drilled into him, and if he * it, then chase him to *.

    There was just too many rumours going about for it not to be true about him going slightly off the rails in my opinion. Being honest, I always knew something wasn't right, because he faded very quickly after bursting onto the scene. And it was obvious that it wasn't down to a lack of ability. And his work rate on the park was excellent. I genuinely don't think he will pull on the hoops again, and certainly not whilst Lennon is in charge.

    I hope not, I hope he screw the nut, genuinely one of the most talented Scottish strikers I've saw come through the ranks in years.

    Totally agree Dev. The boy had the whole package I thought. There is rumours that he and Lennon had a bit of a scuffle. Not sure if that is correct however. But I wouldn't be shocked if it were true at the minute. He definitely has problems off the park that he needs to address, and quickly.

    The truth is, he may just be that kind of guy. We've had those types before in Frank MacAvennie & Charlie Nicholas. Christ, even Jinky was known as a bit of a hellraiser in his day.

    What the management team at celtic need to decide is if his talent is enough to put up with him going off the rails every now & then. The players i mentioned above were well known for their off-field activities, but even better known for their on-field activities.

    Personally, if he scores goals I couldn't give a * what he does off the field. If he's hitting the clubs chasing birds then fine, as long as he's not doing it the night before a game.

    One thing he has in common with those players I mentioned above is the gallus swagger. Not many Scottish players have that these days. He does.

    He would line up for us against Milan and look across at someone like Mario Balotelli and think "* you, I'm twice the player you are". A striker needs that.

    Still, it's decision time for Lennon. We either keep the boy and accept that he's always going to be a bit of a wildcard, or we punt him on.

    There are clubs out there who are more than happy to put up with antics like his as long as he's hitting the net regularly.

    This Belgian move isn't going to end well. Menzo seems like a disciplinarian, and that kind of thing rarely works with a player who thinks he's the mutts nuts and can likely prove it if given the time to do so.

    The thing that concerns me is all the managers so far have mentioned his fitness, I must admit I've not saw much evidence on the field of that myself but he has had limited playing time.

    If his off field activities start hampering his on field activities then there is a line being crossed.

    It could be said that he doesn't need to be as fit as some of his team mates if his job is to simply stick the ball in the net.

    I hate to say it, but one of the greatest goalscorers in Scottish history was far from the fittest man in his team yet he was still successful;

    The hype surrounding this boy is quite frankly ridiculous. That Barcelona goal has pretty much proved to be his undoing. He has barely played 20 games in a Celtic jersey, yet you are labelling him one of the most talented Scottish strikers to come through in years, you serious?
