Aye, I would say its arguable that Ronaldinho shaped the modern game. His skill, vision and criminally understated physical game helped it get to where we are now.

On one hand I get it, I'm sure he can get more money elsewhere. But ffs it's the first time in his career he appears to have settled somewhere and found some consistency and now he's about to leave.

Hibs should punt Nisbet and get Watt in to replace him.

I think there's more to Tony Watt than what it is sometimes simplified down to.

People are quick to say the Barcelona goal got to his head etc. but I don't think it's as simple as that. The way he does twitch streaming and movie reviews shows he's a bit different from your normal footballer.

I know plenty of young people that are the same and I'm sure we all do, we just don't expect it from a footballer. How many people do you know that took until their mid-20s or later to get on top of things. I feel like that's what happened to Watt and there's nothing wrong with that.

To that end, he's doing the right thing by trying to get the best deal possible. He needs to earn a bit of money before he retires and if he feels he's finally at a point where he can take on a new challenge and succeed then all power to him.

Don't blame him for wanting to move elsewhere. He's finally scoring and there will be league 1 clubs in England paying more than Motherwell. If he goes another year at Motherwell and flops, which I wouldn't be surprised by, then that's his last chance gone.
