That is what happens when you are forced out of the door from Celtic. It's a downward spiral from then on.
Strachan and Deila are two of the worse man management coaches I have ever encountered.
Strachan managed to isolate many Celtic players during his time with his stubborness and intransigence, and Deila lost the confidence of almost half the Celtic team during his short stint.

I don't blame the players, I blame the managers.

Watt wasn't forced out. He was given the chance to develop and * it up.

You're criticising Strachan but asked for his return on 4 separate occasions.

Sorry doc but you're talking nonsense here.

Was Ronny not literally just in the door when Watt was sold?

Young player like Watt, plays for Celtic first team, scores against Barcelona.
Goes off the rails a bit, many do, but with the right guidance, understanding and direction from a Father figure type manager that problem could easily have been solved. Ditto for Gravesen,Riordan, Stokes, Allan and Watt.

Managers get paid to manage and nurture their players. I would consider myself a failure as a manager if any young player under my tuteleage hit skid row,and I never seen it coming and took corrective action. It is a manager's duty of care to his players to do that.

Not every young player with potential will be 'nurtured' into something special.

Give them the best managers, coaches, sports scientists whatever, if the attitude doesn't match then you can forget it.

Riordan was a wee ned and the same can probably be said for Watt. They epitomise the 'British attitude' Rodgers always bangs on about.

Allan is just not good enough as an all round footballer no matter what you continue to say, Stokes reached his peak and was never going to achieve anymore.

As for Gravesen I have no idea why he has been chucked in there.

    Utter bollocks.

If someone is acting the *, not training properly or not living their lives like the athletes they are meant to be then the manager is quite within their rights to get rid asap.

There's only so much you can do for some people. Griffiths is a good example. Sometimes he can be a bit silly, or by the sounds of it, not train as hard as he could...but he has enough sense in him to get the finger out. Watt doesn't.

Well MM, I will enlighten you then.

Because Strachan was a complete and utter * to Gravesen. Made him him train on his own.Made him warm up and down on the touchlines as a sub then never bring him on, an attempt to publicly shame him in front of the Celtic fans. Deliberately picked a 17 year old Evander Sno in front of him to spite Tommy.

    Strachan ? An utter *.
Four times I wanted to bring him back ? Yeah four times to pick more holes in him, more like.

    Yes 100%

Tony Watt should be here because Strachan picked Evander Sno and made Gravesen warm up.
