If Ronny thought he was going to be a regular starter then i doubt he'd have been sold for such a low transfer fee..

Just the next Craig Beattie or Cillian Sheridan.

I just don't see the big fuss.

You will soon enough, you don't have a clue about the fitba if you don't see what he's got btw.

He's on another planet to the guys you've just mentioned and in fact that's an insult to his ability as a footballer.

Fantastic, keep them coming. Mind and update it with his goals at Standard Liege when he inevitably bangs them in :icon_mrgreen:

Tbh, he really isn't suited to the SPFL, or at least Celtic in the SPFL. Most of his (best) goals come on the break, getting in behind defenders. He won't get much chance to do that here.

It was in Europe that his skillset looked invaluable to us, especially away from home.

Oh well, I hope he gets the opportunity to utilise his skills at Liege. I know very little about their style

Completely split with this one. If he's going because Ronny doesn't like his attitude, that's 4 managers who have felt this same. Can't understand how he can't just knuckle down and prove he can be number 1 striker at his boyhood club, because its clear he has the ability.

On the other hand, if we can keep Griffiths at the club after the racism, why can't we keep Watt and hope the supposed attitude problems stop? Tough one to call and I think that if he does sign with them it could be one we regret in future.

    shocked by this

on the other hand this move away to the continent where the footballers tend to be much more grown up intune with the continentals being more grown up in general

i think the bhoy is a wild man in personality and ego and hard to control

if the rest of celtic squad are much more relaxed and maturer and are only a little older than him i guess this could have caused problems in the dressing room

so could work well for both who knows he may go on to be a massive success at standard liege and come back in a few years a massive player, heres hoping

This won't happen, if he does really well which I suspect he will then he will be off to a bigger league like the Bundeliga, EPL etc and be well out of our price range, we've * it big time. Unless we have a first refusal buy back clause which I highly doubt we will put in the deal.

is it any wonder watt has an attitude was playing well then came on scored what proved to be the winning goal against the best club side ever then was dropped for about 3 months, that was the time he should have been given a run in the team when his confidence was sky high.then was out on loan last season when we had 1 striker
