We are much better team than stromsgodset
He would have been a good signing for them but that doesnt mean Ronnie would think the same of him now he is at celtic and there is better strikers here for ronnie to work with

Nah, I think the more likely scenario is that the board have accepted a bid of £1.5 million for a fringe/youth player, and they've accepted the deal.

Deila wouldn't have had much input.

Deila probably found out around the same time most of the fans did. He'll just have to adapt.

20 year old fringe players have went on to do a lot at other clubs from not getting games at "big clubs"... Hummels, Pique, Matic, Ozil, Giuseppe Rossi, Immobile, Sturridge and id imagine many more.

Well ronnie has barely played him so I doubt ronnie will be too angered at him being sold.

Having watched the interview with Deila after the St Pauli game it appears there may be something to the penalty incident with Watt.

When asked about the penalty, and that Watt wanted to take it he replied along the lines of "yes, Tony wanted to take it, but Atajic has been fantastic with penalties for a long time now. It was not a good situation that Tony has tried to take it from him, because that takes energy and focus from Atajic".

He didn't look very pleased to be honest.

Sad to see him go without a shot under the new management..

Feels as if we are losing a great prospect and 1.5 or whatever doesn't feel like compensation for a Scottish player with real promise..:54:

Bet he scores against us in Europe at some point!

    Gutted about this one..

I seen it at the game, was nothing in it for me. Watt ran over and picked up the ball which was away out at the touchline and was jogging back when Atajic walked to wards him pointing to the bench and Collins and Deila were pointing for Atajic to take it so he just tossed him the ball.

Not like Watt was pushing him out the way or doing anything, he just wanted to take it but was told not to.

Although after it was missed Watt looked at the bench with his arms in the air like "told you I should have took it" maybe they never liked that :56:

Aye, Deila didn't look happy when he was being asked about it. I think he possibly even blames Watt's antics for Atajic missing the penalty.

By his comments he was clearly * off about it but like you say it was fuckall, it happens all the time at set pieces and penalties.. Goalscorers wanting to score and impress shocker .. Who would have thought..
I would say the deal was well in place as has been mentioned but i wonder if.there was a heated exchange between the two after the game?
Sort of a fast track on the move and made minds up 100%..

I would.like to think not, pretty pathetic from ronny and pl if it is..

I am sure although Deila spoke about him coming in with a clean sheet , Lennon would have given a detailed report about all the players .
I have no doubt that Deila would have spoken to Watt and explained the standards he required from him .
Watt fell short on occasions and Deila mentioned that in some of his interviews .
I don't think Ronnie has said anything non complimentary about any other players .
I doubt if Lawwell would be pushing for a sale of a player at £1.2 m .
Now unfortunately if a bid comes in around £10m for a player Lawwell I think would possibly/probably have the major say .
Lawwell also knew about Watt's history and for that reason in order to help Ronnie , he may have a say in the sale . However as I say £1.2 m that would be not a financial raising sale just a face that didn't fit .

FOR F..K SAKE ANYONE WITH A CASUAL INTEREST IN WHAT WAS HAPPENING AT CELTIC KNEW FOR MONTH'S IF NOT FOR A YEAR THAT WATT WOULDN'T PLAY ANOTHER COMPETITIVE GAME FOR CELTIC .
Why all the talk now .

He followed a woman on twitter who is apparently a journalist working for standard liege tv. Bad signs.

Disruptive influence. Good Riddance and has a bit of growing up to do before he will succeed in football. Daft laddie.
