I remember WGS getting beat 4-2 at Pittodrie and getting abuse for saying we played well. Now TM has got abuse this season for going public saying some players weren't good enough. If Hibs get anything today, it's back on. Fingers crossed!

What the man seems incapable of sorting out is a dire midfield. Teams are pouring thro in waves and would put any combination of a defence under pressure. KI, Brown, N'Guemo etc etc etc all too lightweight. Opposition teams now know that if they fight and scrap an scratch for 90 mins against celtic then we'll fold. It's painful to watch the manager sit on his * through every game and not sort i out. Too easy to blame the defence (which has been poor) but the source of much of what is going on is the lack of dig and leadrship in midfield. TMs tactics willnever win the SPL....FACT!

Burley blamed Langfield for Aiden's goal! Surely if you strike a ball well from 8 yards out, any keeper would struggle?

at least we are seeing some exciting football, scary at times yes, but exciting all the same. the last few years was * football, even when we were winning trophys. give the guy a chance. once he gets a settled defence and tightens it up we are going to start murdering teams with a style of football we havent seen in years. you have to give him at least one season to get it right. i hated strachans style of football even though it was successful but i wasnt calling for his head after 6 months in the job. its time we realised that we probably wont win the league this season, accept it, get over it and support the manager and give him a wee bit of time. i actually think we have a good squad of players who will turn things around and give us some great successes in the near future. if we let them.

    No Rome in a Day!

As the title suggests Rome was not build in a day, Mowbray has set down foundations for building our very own rome here!

Remeber the days of 80 odd games at parkhead unbeating to the like of Ajax, Juventus, Liverpool etc.etc. That was all down to us being able to spend big bucks on players like lennon, sutton, hartson etc.etc
We all know we can't compete with these guys anymore, infact we can't even compete with the championship anymore.

Time for the point then Mowbray cannot buy these players in so we have to search every dark alleyway and corner for a rough edged diamond and if we have to sacrafice ONE lousy season for our Rome then i'm all for it.

People will say well rangers are in dire straites well that may be the case, If they win this league it is nothing short of shambolic from celtics point of view, I've not given up hope yet and i want to see Mowbray do well because i'm a celtic Fan. whoevers in charge of my team i'm going to back him to the hills. Time for some people to get behind him and give the team a lift.

We as celtic fans are spoiled brats, i'm not saying that about the minority either it's the majority.

    Best fans in the world!

    Next joke please.

    ah set down foundations,yeah yeah....
if the huns brought in a few of the players we did imagine what they would be like, with a keano/kamara up front!!

we are embarrising this year and yes ill follow them to the end aswell and all that but i just dont see any real positive signs for the near future in this team mate!

yesterday was a must win game and we couldnt do it,subs baffled me tbh

We've had to rely on young players in defence, which is not Mowbray's fault - injuries.

We tried to sign proven CBs in the window & Preston & Mallorca wanted more than we could offer.

He's moved to sort out the LB problem & again Braafheid made an * of it yesterday.

We had N'Guemo & Broon protecting the back 4, whilst scoring 4 goals at Pittodrie.

4-2 up with 10 minutes to go at Pittodrie.

Player error cost us yesterday again, Mowbray can't really be held out to dry for that - Braafheid shat it & O'Dea was giving away all sorts of fouls & ended out with 2 yellows & a red.

We've not got what we asked for, Mowbray wanted at least one other established CB & has had to play young boys in CD - this is not what he has asked for.

We have a defensive crisis at the moment you can't say our midfield and strikers are crap. We are building a strong team based on youth you need to look further than your nose.

Will it be just ONE lousy season tho?

As far as i can see our defensive is actually in a worse state than b4 the jan transfer window. He won't be able to change that till the summer

So who is to say that they players he brings in to fix the problem are going to hit the ground running or even if they will be any good.

We can all the say this is the worse huns team ever. What they can do tho is defend

Being able to defend is the foundations for winning games.

We clearly can't do this and he will need to get it spot on in the summer

To be honest, I'm really starting to doubt that Mogga is up for the job.
He does have a great eye for a player, but it's his lack of ability to get the best out of the players or motivate them that really worries me.
His body language looks like a man staring into the abyss, hardly inspires confidence when the tv cameras pick him out looking like a forlorn figure, hiding on the bench.

I just don't know, I want to give him at least 2 seasons, but I'm just not convinced at the moment that he can turn things around, especially with the defence.
It seems to be a reoccurring thing with Mogga, great flair & attacking football, but questionable defending, even if he managed to sign another CB or two in the summer, would it change?
Might be a shout to employ someone on a full time basis as a defensive coach.

I too have seen the frailties in moggas system, theres only so much you can do from july to febuary, he has brought in defenders jos and loovens is injured at the moment, thomson is doing a fine job. o'dea was horrid yesterday and rogne is not tested. I'm sure of it next few games will see a big difference we have to dundee united then the scum. And the * about motivating players wm how about the 10ks the get in their bank at the end of the week!

I'm all for building for the future and seasons to come. However that can not be an excuse for the way we have been playing recently which I think is largely due to poor tactics and an even poorer defence. When your two goals up away from home having already lost the lead twice, why on earth bring on another forward? With decisions like that being made I doubt TM will be around to complete his Rome.

    Agree mate.

You just think that someone like a lennon, lambert or henrick
would be able to get the players reved up if they were in charge#

Not saying they would def do better but you would def get a bit more fight

To all of TM supporters: What if we finished third?

Just wondering what your toughts would be if this happened? I like TM and he has my backing BUT if we were to finish third, I think that would change

Hibs won't get anything. Even if they did, the misery would be prolonged until Rangers pump us. They will, if Aberdeen put 4 past us.
