Very good and so easy on they eye as well. He slotted in so easily, which allowed Cal and MOR freedom to do their thing going forward. MOR with a beautiful header and Cal playing sublime ball for OHs second.

Needs a run and after tonight. Deserves it.

 

His positional awareness is top notch. He’s constantly looking around off the ball and sprints immediately into the right space. A player who seems to really enjoy doing the “dirty” work.

 

Keep him in there. Let McGregor, O’Riley and Hatate fight it out for the two CM positions when they’re all fit.

 

Think tonight was his first start of the season?

Quality like we thought from his limited appearances, made a big difference to Cal and Matt too. Keep playing him please.

 

Thing is with him, he always looks solid as well as having that bit of quality going forward. But is still battling against being used very rarely.

How is he gonna fare with an extended run in the team? On paper you'd expect him to get even better. It's an exciting prospect tbh, guy looks to me like he could be a Gattuso (spit) level DM.

Best our midfield has looked since Hatate got injured, think he does the holding role far better than McGregor and then it frees up McGregor to influence the game further up the pitch.
