I thought he came on and tightened up our midfield considerably in the second half. He is strong, physical and intelligent with it. I expect him to go on to be the natural successor to McGregor in the fullness of time.

Ange got his subs bang on today, and that tilted the momentum back to us at an important stage of the game.

Nicked the ball off Raskin superbly in the lead up to the O'Riley chance. That's what he does so well and we'll see more of it.

Took Ange a few goes to get this position right - McCarthy, Ideguchi and Abilgaard have all been flops. Just a strange one because most of his other recruitment has been absolutely spot-on.

I doubt he had much say in the McCarthy signing and Abilgaard almost seemed like a favour to get him out of Russia :giggle1:. Ideguchi I think he probably knew himself was a risk to see if he could recapture his pre-Leeds form but at £800k it was a pretty cheap risk to take. He did also say he wanted Iwata a season earlier but didn't go for him out of respect for Yokahama as he'd already taken Maeda.

No idea of his contribution but he came on and the cup came home so big up the lad he's world class in my book.

I thought he was excellent when he came on. Exactly what we needed.

They were starting to get a hold of the game after Mooy sent off and we needed a solid midfielder to win some of the battles and get us moving forward again.

I was worried because I forgot we had Iwata. As soon as I seen he was coming on I felt we would see it out comfortably.

They had a 15 minute spell on top until he came on, completely changed it.

Whit? The Raskin? The man who would have changed the game in their favour at half time? That Raskin?! He doesn't lose the ball, mate. He's the second coming of prime Pirlo, apparently.

The very same one that did nothing of note bar one pass out wide that they want to build a team around after 210 minutes of football lol

Want to build a team around Todd Cantwell and Raskin. Cantwell was * hopeless when he came on but he was trying too hard apparently. Raskin is getting bummed up to * because he played ok against Partick Thistle for 90 minutes.

I thought he was good as well, still not sure what kind of player he is as we've barely seen him but he looks sound on the ball and physical. Him, O'Riley and Oh I thought made a good impact even Haksabanovic although he could have scored or set a goal up but carried it well with confidence.

Game time has been limited but by * I'm getting ahead of myself because he's looking like he'd be a serious unit for us in a deeper midfield role.

He does look solid and very clever on the ball. No rough edges about him either.
Big difference to Abildgaard, Gutchi and McCarthy

He's more of a unit than Johnston or Ralston as well, I sit in the corner the subs warm up and Ralston back on the bench that last home game they were warming up together and he made Ralston look like a wee skinny boy, his arms and shoulders are like CCV.

Look forward to seeing him getting a real game and how quick he is or how much running he can do over 90 minutes and how well he uses his strength. The game time he's had so far he's looked tidy on the ball and done well but not really involved enough or on long enough to get a good view of him or his style of play.

Hopefully see him get a good run out this weekend.

Think he’ll be class for us.

Looks very well suited to that role, coming in to solidify the midfield and break up play. The big test will be when he starts a game in place of McGregor and needs to set the right tempo, bring others into play, etc. Promising signs though.

Played a big part when he came on. Really positive signs.

Really like what we’ve seen so far from him, looks like he could be class.
