Looks quite left footed which I'm not a big fan of, but I'm sure he must have at least a little bit of ability

As has Joe Ledley. Bit of a strange argument that he is too one footed.

I see that Rogic used to play football so I imagine he is pretty tricky and skillful.

I have heard that he is a typical number 10 type player who can create chances from the midfield. If so then perfect as that is exactly what we are lacking.

Looks tall, strong with a decent shot and pass on him. Does not look the fastest but his dribbling ability and strength could make up for the lack of pace.

I doubt he is better than McGeouch or Twardzik so doubt he'll be signed.

Think a lot of people feel that Twardzik is too lightweight for the SPL, which is full of big bruising defenders. He looks like he'd float away if you prodded him.

Rogic, on the other hand, is 6 ft 2 and can probably hold his own and cope with the physicality of the league.

that'd be amazing but we shouldn't be putting too much on his shoulders. the Bhoy hasn't even signed yet!

Why are you calling him "the Bhoy" then?

    Why?

I think if he had the ability of McGeouch or Twardzik hed have been picked up by a European team by now.

He's been a professional footballer for 1 year so that's not exactly a lot of time to be picked out by European clubs. He's been capped 5 times in 1 year at the age of 20. McGeouch is 1 year younger and hasn't been capped or anywhere near a call up. The same goes for Twardzik.

As good as I think Dylan can be, we haven't seen enough of him to properly judge him.

Again I stress, Rogic has been professional for 1 year and Reading and now us both want him. I'd say that's pretty impressive.

Aye but if he's playing through the middle, setting up chances and splitting defences then we're not getting the most out of him if he keeps getting forced right for example. Surely you'd want your attacking midfielder to be comfortable In his ability with both feet so this isn't an issue. You can be as one footed as you like if your a wide player.

australia are a national team much like the united states who are not afraid to blood young talent In the most recent team that they called up the australians had 3 20 year olds and 2 19 year olds. There are also many 20, 21, and 22 year olds in and around the squad. By comparison the youngest players called up by scotland are 21 and the majority of the squad is much older. The culture in the two countries and teams is just so much different with the australian team favoring youth and the scotland team favoring those who have paid their dues. For example ryan fraser, callum patterson, and tony watt would probably be getting call ups if they were aussies but will have to wait a little longer to get into the scottish team. Also it is much easier for rogic to get into the australian NT than it is for twardzik or mcgeough to get into their respective national teams because of the fact he plays for a * by comparison australian team while mcgeough and twardzik play for celtic so it is much harder to break into the first team and get appearances.
