Looking forward to seeing this lad play,also good to have an Australian in the team for all the Oz Celtic supporters.

We will need a work permit for him but I think that would be no problem, he is capped for Australia. But it might mean that it will take a bit longer time, like in the case of Gershon.

 

Because preseason games are insignificant. Put us in that league we will walk over the top of you.

Regardless of status you can only play against the opposition infront of you so hopefully the training, playing with and against better players, more physical football will make him a better player. He is only young and still has alot to prove everyone has to start somewhere

Yes we might walk all over the top of them but does that mean that st mirren, hibs and the like would? You just need to watch one game of Tom Rogic to see he is a special player....he plays like somebody well beyond his years - great coup to sign him up. He will stroll the SPL, its whether he can then step it up to the champions league.

 

A lot of excitement around this lad, lets hope he delivers!

Melbourne Victory fan in Australia here and my interest in Celtic has always been there back from the Viduka and McDonald days.

Rogic is an absolute steal for you. Seeing him play live he is quality. I watch every EPL game and the occasional SPL game on Setanta down here, Rogic will fit in fine.
He is tall, imposing, is quick over a couple of yards, excellent on the ball and has amazing vision, the future of the Socceroos. Give him some time to settle and enjoy.
I am hoping you go for marco Rojas in the next transfer window as well, quick tricky and excellent on both feet, can do the spectacular.

For those of you bagging the A-League, a solid a-league team would be very competitive in the SPL, but would get a hiding from Celtic like most teams in the league.

Celtic would comfortably win in a league with australia teams however the majority of the teams play at a standard spl style and level
