Honestly I’d have bad that the other way about Burke a winger playing up front, Weah a proper striker.

    Both wingers?
Burke had all the pace in the world, touch of a falling elephant though. Couldn't control a ball for *.
Didn't he transfer one time for £20m or some nonsense? Mental the money English clubs willingly through around, but then they miss our on talents like dembele, orielly etc (I know we benefit from the cross boarder fees etc, but you'd think such talents the English clubs won't care to spend a few million to transfer).

I think Weah’s steadily moved out wide being RWB at one point even, think when he was at us he was more a striker. In the old days he’d be a perfect 442 strike partner.

Aye there was a lot of attempts of after having taken a look at Olly Burke’s physical attributes, because they are outstanding physical attributes, he’s big, strong and rapid - they took a look at that and thought they could coach him into being a better player. He’s never shown the capacity to be one though.

He’s a good player. You could see it when he was here but he’s improved a lot and adapted to other positions.

He was decent for us and you could see he had some potential. Perhaps judgement of him is clouded because he wanted to play for his country instead of our qualifiers so he was sent on his way.

That’s a bit mental he only scored 4 here. He scored at least 10 off the bench

pretty sure he wanted to play at u21 international tournament and he would have missed the cup final and lennon terminated the last couple of weeks of his loan ,lennon had dropped him long before that ,he maybe scored 4 goals for rodgers think lennon dropped him once he came in
