You're excited about an 18 year old with less than 20 professional games coming to us for 6 months? Lawwell is a * genius.

I may be biased because I’m American, but I saw him play in a friendly in person and he was very impressive. He also is coming from one of the biggest clubs in the world and the main reason he didn’t get playing time was because he was behind world class talent. Great signing in my eyes.

With every passing window our signings come more and more with the 'worth a punt' factor. Loans, young, barely played a first team game, young, loans, surplus to requirements, * end of nowhere, basement budget, did i say young & loans. And before someone tells me 'we punch above our weight', 'moussa dembele 20 million', 'global market constraints', 'the market we operate in' blah blah blah. YES I know. Still hope for the day we bring in some proven quality after spending a bit of coin.

Anyone welcome young man, enjoy the next 6 months.

It's a six month loan deal and if it goes well has an option to extend to 18 months.
That is a perfect deal in my book. If it doesn't work out, or the player wants to move back to France he can.

In the meantime it's a name, and it means we are going to be a lot harder to predict.

He's got pace and excellent technical ability, he does come from a £1billion team, which means he's had the best
development and facilities money can buy. He speaks English and French and we have another player for teams to worry about.

Mixed in with Ntcham and Edouard, Forrest and Sinclair, i think it's gonna be a case of if we have a successful second half of the season, he'll stay for a run in the champions league.

He's also got a sweet right foot and all the flicks and tricks to be very entertaining to watch especially in the Old Firm game.

Oh dear, if you say Burke is worth £15million i don't think you get much change out of £10million for this kid and in a few years that could be a lot higher.

If you look at Brahim Diaz who just went from City's dev team to Real Madrid it gives an idea of the crazy money in football. So it's similar and we just got £25 million worth of talent on loan. Still not happy?

Exciting young prospect, who's already scored a few in the minimal game time he's had for the senior PSG team.

If it's true that if he performs we can extend his loan it then its a great deal for quality of player we'd never be able to normally sign.

If it's just 6 months it's not ideal but if he helps us win the league and maybe even progress in Europe against valencia then we've still got our monies worth.

Look forward to see what he can do.

People can moan about 6 months but the truth is he is here to cover Griff who will likely be back next season and if not work from there. Should Celtic not have bothered getting in a short term replacement for him?
Glad to have him aboard and hope him, bayo and Eddie all work well together

6 months is utterly pointless, and would only be applicable to garner cover for first team players.

Weah is obviously coming here to play, not the back up function that he already performing at his parent club.

Thats why its hard to imagine that an option for an additional year isnt there if all partys agree the situation is a good one.

We and indeed PSG are covering our bases in case of another musonda debacle. If we sign him up for 18 months and he musondas it, its a waste of a wage for us and psg will be angry a player theyve invested in is sitting around scratching his balls.

    Im happy enough.

    Welcome Tim
