This thread amuses me greatly. I have never been much of a Strachan fan but I've been shot down in flames by fellow Celts for criticising the man more times than I care to remember. As soon as we lose a game a lot of people seem to be more vocal in their criticism and share my opinion....funny that!

I'm gonna defend Strachan for today's game. We were doing fine.....the game wasn't great right enough...but we weren't looking like losing it till Artur had his howler. So for all the bandwagon jumpers out there....don't shout for Strachan's head unless you REALLY want it. Don't get the hump over one bad result. I call for Strachan's head all the time..even when we were winning 12 games in a row because I just don't think he's the man. I'm consistent about that.

But today's loss was nothing to do with Strachan, it wasnt his fault. So don't slaughter the guy for what happened today. Even though I'm not a Strachan fan even I can see that. Chins up lads...we're still top of the League!! :icon_mrgreen: HAIL HAIL

I agree and its not just because we lost to Hibs....but in general our football has been unbearable to watch in recent weeks. All season we have lacked creativity in midfield a huge factor to us being unable to kill off a lot of weaker teams earlier on in matches and also the reason for us getting beat by Aalborg. Also he has failed to address the striker problem we have been having for a while now. With Jan out, we have not got a poacher to get the ugly goals. Someone like Hartson who was always there for the tap in.

Strachan has made poor decisions this season...in terms of team selection and man management. If A stronger manager was in charge, Boruc would have not made this much mistakes...simply cos he would get a good roasting after the first one or two...yet till now Strachan has failed to talk sense into Boruc.
Also McDonald is so bad this season...he is quickly reminding us of a particular Polish striker by the name of Zurawski ~ one good season then thats it!!!

His decision to play Caldwell in midfield astonishes me...considering we had McGeady on the bench ~ we shud have played McGeady on the right, with Brown in centre.

Also anyone who says Sheridan is good is of his head...he is a very average player at best and he wud struggle to get a game at Hibs, forget Celtic.

I dont want wgs out but i must say he baffles me at times, some of his comments anger me.

scott mcdonald was excellent today and gary caldwell was immense comments are ridiculous and will only breed comtempt,,surely he should be publicly criticising players as a motivational ploy.

We wont get that extra effort from players if they are told they played ''excellent'' or ''immense''when quite clearly they were in all honesty fckng awful.
