problem is all of the above are easier to prove than the motive inside the guys head. There are all sorts of football hatreds short of sectarianism (lots of our fans have deep hate of Rangers) and we just cant prove what he did was primarily sectarian. Fans have attacked players etc without sectarian motives.

Hardly a loyalist country. We have an outright nationalist majority in this country. You dont vote for a party who want to break the union if you are a loyalist. I never said not to back our manager. I back him 100%. That won't change anything about today's verdict and does not mean there will be an upsurge in incidents against him.
