    Lennon failed to get in the CL in his first two season, failed to get into Europe at all in the first and extremely lucky with the Sion thing in the second. Had a good year in the CL in his third and then even in his 4th struggled against Shaktar Karagandy.

    This assumption that we should be playing in the CL is wrong, the Europa League is our level, it's a competition we can actually be competitive in.

    I have no idea what he was thinking playing Mulgrew today. Subs were wrong, the team looked awful. Conceded 3 * goals from corners to this mob. THREE TIMES!!!

    I love Ronny I really do, but that was shameful tonight. * embarrassing.

    Failed yet again, not good enough. But don't worry Lawwell will spend x amount of millions of players ect and feed us more bull *. Ronny is a yes man and a cheap option, nothing else. All he has is the roar nothing else. The league won before a ball is kicked. He has filed again with the thing we need the most and that's champions league football. Getting knocked out by teams who don't have the budget we have. * shocking.

    Absolutely. As bitter a defeat as this is, we have probably just avoided some real hidings in the CL.

    We are a EL team at best. But Ronny had better get something going in that tournament because our (and his) credibility in Europe right now is woeful.

    The squad is woeful in truth, I've tried to big it up but it's mediocre. We're trying to do things the right way but there's no two ways about it. This squad has no Wilson, no Wanyama in midfield, no Ledley putting in great hardworking performance, no Samaras and no Hooper up front. Our spine is dreadful now compared to a few years ago and that's what you need at CL level. VVD, Bitton, Griffiths etc, is nowwhere CL level I'm sorry to say.

    Selection was wrong, tactics were wrong - all coming from manager who has to take the blame. A kid at right full and an Sorprano a left back. Were we going for goal or sitting on the lead. Have to add a ref screws us again in Europe, UEFA really save the best for us in the big games

    If we got past the round of 32 we would, we certainly won't progress finishing 4th with around 4/5 points in the CL.

    Honestly, getting through the groups would be an achievement.

    That defence that started tonight would be doing well to keep the odd clean sheet in the SPL, and thats with VVD, never mind against better European opposition. On top of that we are hardly going to go toe to toe with a team away from home to compensate for that!

    Im not surprised by the result which is the worst thing.
