The reference was to you calling another poster *, that is what you've to cut out.

Attack the post not the poster.

Keep the thread on topic please, if you have a question PM me.

There is no way Guus Hiddink would take the Celtic job now. After his successful spell at Chelsea and what he has done with Russia (and to an extent S. Korea at the 2002 WC) he could manage any team in Europe. Why would he come to Scotland with no money to spend? I know he was interested when MON came but I think you're dreaming tbh mate if you think he'd come now.

Craig Levein or Billic was what I wanted in the summer but now I think if we were to get rid of TM I would go for Levein he wouldn't cost us much and has done wonders in the SPL with a lot less money than he would get here. And players work for him, which is more than can be said of our current crop.

next three games at home (albeit one a dead rubber v Tel Aviv); personally i can handle not being in Europe but if we dont win our next two home SPL games THEN i might start to really worry

until then Mogga has my full backing

Today was the last draw for me with Mowbray.

I'm not buying into that rubbish about how we should wait till January, as he'll just spend our money on another Fortune probably. He has inherited a team and made them progressively worse. That is just not on.

Dundee Utd are only 2 points behind us and have a game in hand. They could be above us at Christmas ffs.

Absolutely wrecked our good home European record aswell, we only lose to Barcelona in EIGHT years and we've already lost 3 at home in 4 games? NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

Tel Aviv was when the doubts crept in about Mowbray, and it's just got worse and worse since then.

I feel sorry for the guy, but the man simply MUST GO.

Hardly surpring given his teams. However, he hugely improved Hearts and Dundee United compared to what went before. He was unlucly to join Leicester when the club was self destructing off pitch so he really cannot be judged on that. Leveins main attraction for me is he is hard headed, has a great eye for a cheap but quality player and seems to really be able to motivate players. He seems like someone who would sweat blood to succeed. Its hard to prove this because his CV doesnt include any big big clubs but I have a very strong feeling that Levein would get far more out of the players. Fans should stop fantacising that the next window will see quality players pour in and transform Celtic. This has never happened except in MON's first 6 months. Never before or since.

The key attribute of a Celtic manager is ability to bring success with average players through knowledge of the game, tactics, eye for a player and man management. The players need to be very well motivated, good team players, organised and willing to run through brick walls because we are not going to see loads of technicallly very gifted players in this marker. That can work wonders. Some very well organised and motivated teams have had a lot of success. We do not beed Barnes II.

no passion no desire to score nothing!!

I have faith, give the guy a chance because he has only had one transfer window in which to act. He has inherited players that are past their sell-by dates as far as playing for this club are concerned- ppl such as caldwell, mcmanus.

He isnt daft and will be learning game by game.

No chance of Moyes btw. I would love it. But no

I feel as if we're going down a road we don't want to be tbh but I've thought that since he was given the job. In recent weeks, not only are we stuttering, we are stuttering whilst playing poor football. At the start we were playing some really enjoyable stuff and although we were leaking goals left, right and centre we were still winning with style.

We're regressing constantly and although some folk are saying we battered Dundee United, we really didn't. Our attack was impotent the entire 90 minutes and when they scored the equaliser there was only 1 team that was going to go on and win that game and it wasn't Celtic.

I really don't know what we can do though, he won't be sacked and I'm not even sure if he should be sacked either. You have to give him time I suppose but the signs are there that he isn't up to the job unfortunately and I feel as if he's going to go out with a whimper rather than fighting.

Mowbray is trying hard with the players he has been given - pity the players are not trying. I mean Robson may have scored a penalty but he's a one foot player and should be shifted as should McDonald, Brown, Caldwell, McManus, Maloney, Naylor, and Loovens. Bring back O'Dea, and lets see the far east players step up to the plate or else get them on the next slow boat to wherever! There's not much time left for Mowbray to impose himself on the squad - as a matter of fact its overdue.

He was certainly handing out the presents today - instead of receiving them! Listened to his interview afterwards, and he is in deep trouble - playing the " greatest fans" card to appease us all. The last straw. If WGS had come out with that *, he'd have been bounced down London Road.
Can't see how the board can continue with him - he's dragging the club downwards and it's clear most of the players have stopped playing for him. Today was pathetic - again. As for Fortune???????? That says so much about Mowbray - no idea, no future. Bye, Bye, Tony!
