time for mowbray to go? [Threads Merged]

Am gutted so far as i like Mogga and want him to be a success, which i think he will in time, and will back him all the way through bad and good. Some of the signings have been terrible, Fortune mostly but that will always be the case if you spent big on a player and he does not instantly deliver. Give him time to get his players in and the * ones out and the trouble makers out. Heard a few stories today about Robson pulling the whole dressing room up after the motherwell game and having a go at them and also 2 of the foreigners going at it after the falkirk game where mick had to step in. I expected more from the managment, especially peter grant, and the team and have been let down. I will always back the team though wether i like the manager or players as Celtic Football club deserves to be backed by true fans not glory hunters who are to used to the last decade of trophies and dominance.

 

please please please just leave, this man cant get results v falkirk hearts ect ect its plain and simple not working and i just want him out

Spot on mate. He needs time to sort out the defence. any games we've dropped points in has been down to defending and i think he deserves time to fix it. I do think he needs to get 3 new centre backs in though.

Mowbray has to pick from Caldwell, McManus and Loevens as centre backs. Their nowhere near good enough!

The heart showed in Vienna is what Mowbray can offer. January is a big month for him though, if he doesn't buy quality and continues the trend of buying from championship reserves then he should be shown the door. Until then, keep the faith!

he does need time but i hope he gets the defence sorted and doesnt leave it like strachan did with the LB situation. i can see him try to buy flair players and the like and leave the defence

not moggas fault that he inherited 3 dumplings of CB's!! unusually mick was the BEST of the three today! * was Loovens thinking and heid is obviously just waiting for his mate Strachan to set him up at boro; in january we need Caldwell out, odea back, let the boy thompson have a chance and buy at least 1 cb; we'll need to keep one of mick and loovens till the end of the season but tbh i'd imagine loovens will still be with us in may and not mick.

we dominated with 10 men, had shots off the line, 3 times the post, goalie made some good saves and sammy missed an absolute sitter how hearts won that game was not through their own work but our * defence

Look mowbray probably didn't expect the defense to be this bad, if hed seen what they are like then im sure hed have bought a few defenders in the summer. Lets see what happens in january because right now wed be aswell not having a defense and starting with less players.

 

the defence are * us up here and not mogga! everytime we concede our strikers have more preassure on them to score. once mowbray gets shot of the spineless ones then we will see how good this team will go.
