I have been to 14 away games in europe and everytime we are all seated in the same area. now and again we get tickets for different parts on our own, but the main bulk will be in the one end.:50:

My Hamburg friend says that the Reperbhan is 99% St Pauli pubs. All you need in one area.

The Bhoys Are Back In Town: Invitation to All Celtic Supporters
coming over for the match Hamburg SV - Glasgow Celtic FC NEW
[IMG]
St.Pauli CSC, the Jolly Roger pub, the Fanladen, the venue Knust and all St.Pauli supporters would like to welcome all Celtic supporters to our city and especially the St.Pauli district. To make your stay as pleasant as possible, we organised for some events. We'll add more info for you closer to the date.
We put together a google map of the relevant venues.
Party/Concert Wednesday, Nov 4:

Concert and party at the venue Knust (close to the Millerntor stadium, 10 min walk from Reeperbahn area, about 200 meters from Jolly Roger)
featuring

Address:
Knust im Schlachthof
Neuer Kamp 30
Public transport: Underground Feldstrasse (U3, yellow line)
Admission: 12,- Euro. Minimum age 16 or in company of a legal guardian
Tickets only at the door, venue holds 700
Doors open: 6 pm, concert starts at 7 pm.
Party/Concert Thursday, Nov 5

Party and concert in the Knust again. Pay at the door, admission 10 Euro.
Doors open: 12 am noon til 5.30
Bands: Shebeen, Gary Og & The Exiles
After the match: party at the Knust and in the Jolly Roger with DJs til the morning
March/Train To Get To The HSV Ground

St.Pauli CSC worked together with the public transport authority to have a special train running from the St.Pauli area to close to the HSV ground, holding about 1000 people. We'll leave at the Knust venue at about 4.45 pm after having taken a big mob picture in the yard outside the Knust and march down the street to the train station STERNSCHANZE which will take about 5 to 10 minutes. TRAIN WILL LEAVE 5.15 pm SHARP!!! and takes about 12 minutes.
When we get out of the train, shuttle buses will bring us directly to the ground.
If any do not fit in or are getting there late: take the train S11 to OTHMARSCHEN!!
The special train is defo the best way to get to the ground. Any getting there on different routes, e.g. from Reeperbahn: don't go to the official train station STELLINGEN!! All Celtic supporters should go to OTHMARSCHEN, that's a stop on the green lines S1 and S11.
After the match it will go back the same way.

For Those Without Tickets

Knust (the venue of the party), Jolly Roger, Raval, Weinbar St.Pauli etc. all show the match
After The Match

All the well known venues like Knust, Jolly Roger, Weinbar St.Pauli etc. will be open after the match.
Opening of FC St.Pauli Ground Millerntor

For those who want to have a look at our ground, take pictures etc., we'll open the terrace of the south stand:
Wednesday: 1 pm til 5 pm
Thursday: 1 pm til 4 pm
The entrance will be just left of the club's pub and we'll have someone of St.Pauli CSC there to answer questions etc.

For A Good Cause: The Match Day T-Shirt

We created a strictly limited t-shirt for this event. All proceeds go to the Fanräume ('Room for Fans') initiative. The aim of the Fanräume project is to create more space for supporters initiatives and the social project Fanladen English : Fanladen St. Pauli. So this a good alternative to the usual half-and-half scarf - hardly appropiate to have HSV and Celtic on one, isn't it? ;)

The shirt will be available at the venue Knust during the parties where the Fanräume initiative will also be happy to answer any questions, sell other merchandise etc. and most likely at the south stand during the opening hours (see above).
The Jolly Roger

The Jolly Roger is the main St.Pauli supporters pub. It's non-profit, all money goes into supporters projects. It's located at Budapester Straße close to the Millerntor stadium and 5 minutes walk from Reeperbahn.
Opening hours: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 12 am/noon til the last guests leave, usually about 5 or 6 am ;)
Normal opening hours all other days, e.g. 8 pm on the Tuesday. Check out MySpace - Jolly Roger Pub - 101 - Female - Hamburg, DE - myspace.com/jollyrogerhh as well.
FC St.Pauli matches

We'll play away to Hansa Rostock on Monday, Nov 2, 8.15 pm and at home against Düsseldorf on Friday, Nov 6, 6 pm.
The home match against Düsseldorf is sold out!
If you would like to attend: The only way to get tickets is to find spares so ask around and check for people offering some outside the ground. Please don't buy from touts that ask for much more than face value. Any decent supporter would give it away at face value but wouldn't mind getting bought a beer. If you find anyone with a spare season ticket: we don't have season books, but plastic cards so you'll have to go inside together as no one would give it away (it's not replaceable).
If you got a ticket reserved by the Fanladen (btw: another reason to buy the t-shirt mentioned above ;) ): Pick it up in time or if you know you won't take it contact the Fanladen ASAP as there is a long waiting list and many fellow supporters would like to attend! Phone number of the Fanladen: +49 40 439 69 61.
Security and General Advises

The St.Pauli district is a party and red light area so you should take all the usual precautions such as keeping money save and having a copy of your passport. Some of the more shady bars along the Reeperbahn might try to fool you with the price of a drink, so if you really wanna go there order from a menu rather than just ordering 'one beer' and never let any of the staff order a champagne on your expense. We have had supporters with 600 Euro bills at lunch time in recent years - there are better ways of spending money.
It's not illegal to consume alcohol on the street in Hamburg, but since recently there's a complete ban of glass bottles at the Reeperbahn and some of the streets and places just of the Reeperbahn. No problem to drink alcohol from plastic bottles, though, and the ban does not apply to the areas further north and south of the Reeperbahn such as where Jolly Roger etc. are.
Opening hours: there are no limits for the pubs and bars, but many will close rather early on work days. There will be still enough bars open (almost) all night and all the St.Pauli/Celtic related places should be bouncing til the morning. Ask us or in the hotels for further advise. Supermarkets in the St.Pauli area are open every day.
HSV supporters: we don't expect large scale riots, but it's good to be careful. Their pubs are rather south of the Reeperbahn. While it's no problem to walk there during the day, it's defo better to remain in groups and rather avoid it on Wednesday night and especially after the match. Only very very few good places there anyway, more expensive, touristy etc. Better stick to north of the Reeperbahn and you'll be very safe in the places we recommend on the map.

We put together a google map of the relevant venues.

Erm, is there still someone in need of a ticket? The colleague who wanted to come over just told me not to be able to take the trip so I have one spare ticket (11A, row 5).

Here we go again;

It is expected that around 2,500 Celtic supporters will visit Hamburg for this fixture. Celtic supporters will be located in sections, 14A, 14B and 14C in the South Tribune of the stadium. Please do not travel to Hamburg and the HSH Nordbank Arena unless you have a ticket for this fixture.

Celtic FC will manage the sale of our tickets. Please only purchase tickets from official sources.
There will be no sale on matchday at the stadium for visiting fans. Please ensure that you keep your match ticket safe and secure.

Supporters wearing or displaying Celtic colours in areas allocated to Hamburg are liable to be ejected from the stadium.
