If they had to respond to every bullshit claim made against them they'd never have a free second. No point giving it an ouch of credibility by responding to it.

Almost certainly. FARS have been doubted by the state owned Press TV. Of course this Press TV article is a crap stub article itself, but it shows that not even the Iranian state (who love to spread a conspiracy) trusts FARS.

    http://www.presstv.ir/detail/2012/06/25/247945/egypt-denies-reports-about-ties-with-iran/

If this guy (who only seems to exist on these conspiracy *) did say this that itself doesn't mean its true. Iraq is the most corrupt regime in the Middle East. I wouldn't trust anything that comes out of its political class. Because this Hakem al-Zameli figure only exists on conspiracy websites we can't find out where he fits into the make up of Iraq, but my guess is he probably falls on the Shi'a side of the Shi'a-Sunni divide in Iraq. Which could explain why he is spreading stories about Sunni Da'ish and the imperialist west.

The "Special Groups", anti-US Shi'a paramilitary groups like Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq; Liwa al-Youm al-Mawud and Kata'ib Hezbollah are still very much active. They fight the Da'ish and have the ear of many within the Shi'a dominated government. Both sides continuously spread conspiracies about the other, each hoping to paint the other as US puppets and in the pay of the kuffār. It's just the conspiracy people are so * stupid they hoover this all up, without an idea for what is really going on in the area.

They can spread stories about British planes being shot down with Da'ish supplies on board because large chunks of the population have no way of really knowing if it's real or not.

I totally agree with you mate about religious schools, and have had this argument with many in here over the years, including some on now, but like Kennybhoy, i also went to a Non Denom, and the truth is they are like Protestant schools.
I was taught The Lords Prayer a very long time ago.....and although i was at school when i last recited it.....i still know the words, as i do to many hymns etc, all courtesy of the non denom.

I would like all religion removed from all schools guaranteed before the unilateral dismemberment of Catholic schools.

Just Catholic schools? What about other schools like Church of England schools?

Every frigging opportunity to have a go at Catholics.

A thread about girls joining isis fighters and here we're talking about Catholics.... Who'd have thought it.

Whoa hossy.....the subject had moved on to Catholic Schools a lot of pages before i got involved.

For the record......ALL RELIGIOUS SCHOOLS, OK?

Religion should be 100% taken out of schools.....all of them.

There's Catholic schools in Iraq (and i'm sure many other countries in the region - Syria and Iran have quite large Catholic populations).
So no, Muslim countries don't tell other religions to 'get te *'.

Don't know what the * is going on here but i'll throw that out there. :smiley-laughing002:

I went to a RC School and then went to a non religious school. Personally if it was my choice no school would teach a specific religion (only generic religion), if parents want their kids taught a religion fine they can do it and use the churches/chapels/mosques etc.
At least at school if we can get all kids to play/grow up with each other, then we may have a better future to look forward too as opposed to the hatred we see.

I know it was being discussed and you're not the only one discussing it but you never fail in putting the boot into Catholicism in one shape or form.

Thanks for clearing up all religious schools and all religion from schools....just sick of reading about us brainwashed catholics.... We're not fanatic extremists running around murdering people because of our warped view of our faith.

I don't for a second believe that Muslim schools teach their pupils extremism either.
