They would actually make a very balanced partnership.

He's been brilliant ever since he stepped on the pitch for the very first time. One of the best young centre halfs in the UK. I tell you what i'd sooner spend £10 million on Rogne than Chris Smalling. I mean what other 20 year old out there at a huge club gives alot of interviews with the media, unreal maturity this guy has :50:. Absolute rock in defense, one of the best defenders we've had in a while for me.

I remember he got alot of * on here before all the way up until the huns game, He is only 20 and when we signed him we were told that he was the most talented player to come out of Norway in recent memory and he is starting to show why

Can't remember that, he was being billed prematurely as our defensive saviour.

He can play the ball out of defense & he will.

Lenny has eased him into the role, obviously telling him to hoof it as soon as it gets in his area - this was after he had a few gaffs, when he 1st started to get a run in the team.

Now that he's settling into the role, you see him taking his time a lot more & start to pick out short possession retaining passes, rather than a hoof.

He is very intellegent, he's holding his own in pre Old Firm media conferences & not falling into any media traps like: Are Celtic favorites, Grampa Weir says they are...or - what do you think of El Haj Diouf?

He's only 20 & is playing in a foreign country for a massive club & even being the only fit & available natural CB for an important Cup semi-final didn't faze him....he's * awesome!!

He is still on a learning curve and does get caught/beaten sometimes but you can see he has the potential to be very decent. Certainly the best young CH at the club since JFK although for me JFK was quite a bit better at that age but he was truly exceptional.

Only injury can stand in his way, he possesses all the attributes a great defender should have.

he is still young and still growing in2 his body similar to Theo walcott and james forrest they will pick up wee niggles and they can be out for a month but once they have get older these things start to go away
