Short term replacement for Petrov is what I see

 

Stan has signed for Villa, a for year deal and £8m for Celtic.

Agree with Dempsey on this one Graveson is a good player with a decent footballing brain but ultimately the reason he's being bought is as a short-term replacement for super player who i think under the guidance of the legend that is MON can be top class hit in England!!!

 

Says on the skysports website that Grav has agreed a deal with Celtic, hope its true.

Well I hope you're right. I liked the guy at Everton but he was no Roy Keane and he's not as good as Petrov. Just think we're over-blowing it a bit. He seems a right arrogant c@nt as well. Didn't he badly injure Baptista in training at Madrid?

I think Gravesen will make a bigger impact at Celtic than Keane.....Keane was done when he came up here not even a shadow of the player at Man Utd

 

Dont honestly know if he injured him. I agree that he's no Keano, but i think he's better then Lennon. Lennon's been good, but i think this could be his last year at parkhead.

Agree with that, in fact I think Lennon might have played his last game for us. He was rank again on Saturday. Young Sno will be back up for Gravesen before long.

 

Yip. Had my doubts about Sno when he signed this summer, what with all the rumours flying about. But from what i've seen so far, in pre-season and the sub appearances hes made, looks as if he could be turned into something quite good. I mean, look at what WGS has done for maloney, mcgeady and beattie!

You could say MON had a hand in that, but i think WGS did a better job with them.

Do you realise that Gravesen's best position is attacking midfielder?

 

well at real he was always played in the holding role, aka lennon role.

 

Yes they played him out of position...............hence he didnt shape up...and they got rid.

 

Yes i never understood why madrid played him there cos at everton he was mostly used in an attacking midfield role an he excelled there which is why , i thought , real m signed him. weird
