    The numbers I quoted were widely reported in the press. I think it's fair to assume that he would be demanding a huge wage as he has a very lucrative contract with madrid.

    yeah but you dont know what celtic have actually offered. i htink the board have done great up till now, its just a bit frustrating. guess we will just have to wait n see. fingers crossed.

    TG is on £65,000 a week With Madrid and Celtic Will offer him not more than £30,000+ gets a signing on fee around £500,000 Not to bad or he could just sit on his Mad Dog Tommy * all day with Madrid and pick up £65,000 a week I know what I would do(sit on my *-lol)

    Personaly I don't care just as long as TG is fully fit and helps the bhoys Retain the SPL+do well in the CL and Hopefully reach the knock-out-phase and mybe win the other 2 Cups in Scotland now that would earn him a few £££££££££££ would it not ffs the whole team would get a Bonus!!!!

    That's why the negotiations are taking so long, he has a mega-bucks contract with Madrid. He does want to play first team football but you wouldn't walk away from money like that easily. He'll want to get as much as possible and if it doesn't work out he'll have to go back to his spanish penthouse to count his euros...............awwwww diddums.

    I can't believe it's not done deal, I'm afraid that we will be left with no real presence in middle of the park for CL, the current midfield without Petrov could manage SPL, but CL will prove too much for them.

    Lets hope TG signs before deadline:50: :50: there's still time!!

    I Hope your right, you mentioned Keano what does everyone think of his appointment of Sunderland manager?

    I just wish Keano stuck with his heart & moved to Celtic earlier in his career, after the European final he should have came to CP, but then Celtic would have to pay-out mega dosh, we never got to see the real Keano @ CP & I think he regrets what happened.

    FFS, I already said that all clubs have until 24.00 CET on the 1st September to register players for the CL, thats FRIDAY NIGHT. :31:
