I think the deal is dead in the water mate, If there was any prospect of the deal being concluded tomorrow then why has Silvaebek flown out of Glasgow, Gravensen had to be at the training camp not Silvaebek. If there was a chance of this issue being resolved surely the agent would have stayed behind to try and work things out with the deadline being as close as it is...and his player still in essence without a club.

Very suprised about this. Sure, he might have had a bad injury 8 years ago but if it hasn't been a recurring problem ever before why would it suddenly become one now?

well in a way i hope we dont get tommy grav if petrov stays . cause im already a wee bit nervy about paying £17m for 2 players. if we were so skint , then why can we afford to stump up this sort of cash? there are alot of overheads that people dont think of. like other staffs wages and all the other players wages. and alot of other expencive things like quinns wages.

but again back to stan. if he doesnt want to be here then why keep him. hes done a great job for us , and he did us a huge favour by signing a new deal with us, so that we could get more money for him. this must have been planned ages ago. way b4 he signed the deal.

Personally I think the deal is done, When VOH was speaking after the hibs game he said the deal with celtic was done by the monday, yet he didn't get unveiled till later in the week.
Since Lawell came on board he does everything for maximum PR effect (quite right in my opinion, as the chairman of the orcs has been doing it with his moonbeam for years).

As a side note id also like to see a bid made for Kevin Thompson, there were times on saturday when he was controlling the game for long spells, an ideal replacement for lennon IMO

I agree with this Gravesen as a replacement for Keane n Kevin Thompson for Lennon...

 

Don't blame club ffs. They were offering to make Gravesen the highest paid player in the clubs history. Also you can't compare the Keane situation, that was for less money and 1 year only. Celtic don't throw money at cripples that's what the huns do. If he has a problem then you don't give him a 3 year 45k a week contract!!!!! Personally, I still think it will happen but obviously the medical results have complicated the negotiations. At least with the window closing we won't have to wait long to find out.
