Linesman is much closer to the incident than the ref, must have been him speaking to him on earpiece

As long as he posts within the rules he's entitled to give his opinions no matter how much we disagree with them.

My comments were in response to the above post by Kennydal. Looking at the pictures from Sky it looks to me in the top one that the linesman is closer to the incident than the ref. Would it not make sense then that the linesman advised the ref that it was a sending off offence, and the ref acted on that advice seeing as he was obviously unsighted. Im blaming the linesman for the bad decision, not the ref. Not quite sure how that constitutes an anti celtic /pro rangers comment, but if any of my critics want to respond to that then feel free.

just by the way mcdonald was already up to usain bolt speed with red card in hand when laugherty was on the way down tells me the linesman had nothing to do with it.

The linesman couldn't see anything either as Laugherty was backside to him, so that dozen't stack up either buddy.
I watched the Sky footage of the incident and it is quite clear that the linesman
missed the altercation, and neither is his lips moving in any form of communciation to the referee

It should have been a booking and a telling off for each player, yet a Celtic player was sent off and the Rangers player not spoken to.

I just hope it was incompetence, not cheating.

    This has run it's course.

People are driving themselves mad with paranoia and it's getting ridiculous.

Can we drop it and move on to the next game?

I'm confused as to why people are saying that the linesman was closer to the incident than the ref, anyone with any concept of perception can see that they're about the same distance away.

Just thought I'd point that out.:56:
