How do our performances excuse the clear incompetancy of the referees, and the fact that the SFA as a whole are unfit for purpose?

Indeed, Celtic are the only team in the SPL who HAVEN'T made a formal complaint to the Referees Association this season.

Taken from another angle. Look at the distance ref Dougie McDonald is away from the scene of the incident.

It is not simply because of poor refereeing decisions that we trail by such a considerable margin, I don't think that is what PRD is trying to say, but there is a long standing record of extremely dodgy decisions that tend to favour R******.

An authority not less than Billy McNeill has seen this trend for over 50 years, as a player, manager & spectator.

    You know all this how?

In another thread you said you hadn't been in the country.

Witch is well seen considering your posts.

It's prety damning and conclusive evidence that it is a conspiracy against Celtic.

    Watch this and reconsider

Now, that is no excuse that we cannot get our own house in order, which we need to do ASAP. There is the view that there has been a traditional bias in favour of R******, but it is also worth the consideration that the standard of refereeing simply is absolutely rubbish.

    No.

I'm telling you that our performances have nothing to do with the referees performances, and that both have been unacceptably poor. I'm asking why the former negates the latter, and why we can't (correctly) complain that the SFA is nothing more than an anachronistic bad joke.

The point is, a series of dodgy refereeing performances & critical decisions have gone in favour of R******, not just this season, but for a very long time. In so far as this season is concerned, we have seen a couple of penalty decisions go against us. Now with our record from the spot this is no guarentee. Nor was having a perfectly legitimate goal chalked off, or one of the most vile 'tackles' punished by only a caution, when it was worthy of dismissal, nor having one of our players sent off for a case of handbags, which was a 50/50 at worst. And these are just some of the ones we have been on the wrong side of this season.

It must also be said that it is not just Celtic that has suffered from questionable refereeing performances. Alot of clubs, including Motherwell, Hibs & Aberdeen have also had cause for concern for critical decisions going in the favour of R******. Legit goals chalked off, serious fouls going unpunished - you get the drift.

Now, our being 10 points adrift can be partlally attributed to these catalogue of refereeing performances. We trail by 10 points, played a game more, scored fewer goals and having conceded almost twice as many as 'that other team' tells of internal issues that Celtic have to rectify. We have to get our own house in order ASAP. No disputing that, but whilst that is something the manager and players should be working on, does not the football club have a right to raise concerns regarding refereeing standards?

This is how it feels to be Celtic
If Bougherra had been wearing the hoops he would have been facing a ban. He's a cheating * and I think he knew he was never going to be sent off.
