Good point. When you were young the future seemed a long way off. In adulthood the future is now, you are (almost too) aware of your own mortality and time seems to go by much, much quicker.

When I remember thinking that games such as FIFA 96 had the best graphics EVER, with Andi Thom and Andy Walker being the main men in the Celtic team.

Dressing up as the Red Ranger, (costume, helmet, wee morpher device on the belt, the lot) from Power Rangers and thinking that I was * hot and hoping that I'd impress the girls.

When Saturday morning TV was actually half decent, with TV shows such as Batman: The Animated Series, which I regret that I never really appreciated those kind of shows at the time. (I still watch some Batman: TAS episodes online!)

And when I found out about the birds and the bees, which stemmed from a conversation about my curiosity on the purpose of tampons, as I sat with my Dad, eating a lemon sorbet ice cream from Mancini's of Ayr.

    Good times.

Am still only 14 but a miss my childhood. A miss how in primary school everyone was friends, no-one hated each other but now everyone is so bitchy.:56:I also miss being able to get away with random things you just can't get away with now and having no worries. It was great. :54:

I thought like this, too, but now I'd give almost anything to go back to when I was 14/15. Just enjoy life until you turn 18... that's when you really start feeling pressure for the first time. Trust me on this.

    Aye man he's totally right.
I'm 19 now and I have to face the reality of life now.
I still * love being alive, it's amazing. But my childhood feels like a long time ago.
Make the absolute most of your teenage years. They make up a large part of who you are!
