Sabu was falling asleep back stage and all-sorts. Plus the fact he could't wrestle and botched at least 3 spots every match.

if the rock and jerrico came back i would start watching it again.
they should get bret hart back in some capacity as well but i dont think he would go back while that * michaels is there.

there is loads of good peeps in the tna but i dont see that ever reaching the hights of wcw or wwf.

Jarrett is a great so is scot steiner, kevin nash, sting, ect ect

The Rock won't be coming back since he's made his millions and is now a movie star, will see him from time to time though for appearences building up to Wrestlemania and such.

I couldn't see Bret coming back for any reason as well, not because of Michael or Vince as Bret himself said that it's all water under the bridge, but that he has no reason to return for, he's been there and done it all; sure he could be GM or whatever but he has no real motive to do it.

TNA have entered preliminary signing talks with Brock Lesner by the way, Lesner offered to come back at Wrestlemania and job to anybody Vince wanted but WWE refused because he was asking for too much and Vince is still furious at him for the manner in which he left and all the lawsuits, etc.
TNA will be looking for Spike TV to cover half of Lesner's contract, just as they do for Sting and Angle.

While Lesner is on his way in, Joe may well be on his way out sooner or later, since he still hasn't signed another deal, this may turn into a big story or it may just be a leverage deal. One thing to consider is that Konnan and Ron Killings both quit and there have been at least a half dozen guys who have asked to get out of their contracts and been turned down.

But no matter who TNA signs they're still gonna go down the * with Vince Russo at the helm.

Punk is the new ECW champ after one of the best free matches in a long time! Although the title will most likely be given back to Morrison as soon as his suspension is up, it gives Punk a chance to show what he can do with a main-event belt.

    now some news:

T.J. Quinn of the New York Daily News obtained a list of wrestlers who were clients of the Signature Pharmacy. The names are as follows:

    Randy Orton
    Charlie Haas
    Adam Copeland aka Edge
    Robert Huffman aka King Booker
    Shane Helms aka Gregory Helms
    Mike Bucci aka Simon Dean
    Anthony Carelli aka Santino Marella
    John Hennigan aka John Morrison
    Darren Matthews aka William Regal
    Ken Anderson aka Mr. Kennedy
    Chavo Guerrero

Shortly after that article was published, ESPN issued three more names to the list:

    Dave Bautista
    Shoichi Funaki
    Chris Mordetzky aka Chris Masters

Despite these listings, this has no indication on who has been suspended. WWE refuses to comment on which of the ten superstars had been suspended. The length of their suspension is also in question; depending on if it is there first or second offense.
    ---
-WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Smackdown talent Eugene as of September 1. We wish Eugene the best in all future endeavors.
    ---
-Ric Flair quit WWE this week over frustration with his push and a lack of any encouraging communication from the front office.

There are now discussions to try to talk him into cooling off and agreeing to not quit.

His situation doesn't appear to be at all related to the suspensions, although he's now more valuable with some names being gone for a month.

If things don't work out, it's not beyond the realm of possibility that Flair could be offered a sweet and tempting deal to be part of TNA's two hour launch. TNA is interested and aware of the situation.

World Wrestling Entertainment has released Raw tag team Cryme Time. I haven't heard particulars yet but do know there was an incident this weekend involving Cryme Time and WWE Tag Team champions Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch.

There's an upside to this whole steroid scandal, it will make the WWE utilize the less hulked up and more skillful superstars, the same kind of scandal happened in the 90's and that gave some of the unconventional (at the time) superstars such as Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and Mick Foley a chance to cement their place in the Main Event, we're already seeing this sort of thing happening with Punk getting the title who is exactly what the WWE are looking for as a champion far as this whole drug usage deal goes.

If anyone was watching RAW and wondering what that big 'technical error' thing was it's most likely the tease promo for the return of a certain Ayatollah.
