TNA's attendances are always *. They don't rely on money from fans to stay alive though. They are funded by Panda Energy, which is why they let fans in for free at the iMPACT Zone.

 

- There was a lot of backstage talk about Monday's RAW this week. It was acknowledged that the promos by CM Punk, Paul Heyman and The Rock were all very good to build up the Royal Rumble but besides that, the feeling was that the show sucked. As noted, lots of people were talking about how bad John Cena's promo was.

- The current storyline where The Miz is being pushed as the "next Ric Flair" was originally earmarked for Dolph Ziggler. With Ziggler, the idea was going to be more of Flair being his manager but Ziggler was going to be given the Figure Four and doing the same gimmick Miz is doing as a babyface.

Regarding turning Ziggler babyface, it looks like those plans have been put on hold for the time being.

 

Would love to see Rikishi and Too Cool be entrants in the Rumble!

I think Ziggler is struggling to find a position in the WWE at the moment. He is clearly still lined up to be the next big thing but there is little room for him on Raw when the WWE is so dependent on old faces like The Rock, Cena, Taker, Lesner, HHH, to add a bit of star power in time for Wrestlemania. At at the moment SmackDown just has so little direction I dont think there is any value in the title at the moment.

Out of curiosity,how long have most of you guys watched wrestling for?I've watched it on and off for like 15 years,couldn't believe it was that long !The standard's so bad now I hardly bother though.

ive been watching on and off since 89 i went to my uncles who was living in holland and he had loads of tapes with PPVs my first one was summerslam 88, i came home and convinced my mum to get sky

since I was about 4, so 15 years, stopped watching for about years after Eddie Guerrero died though so more like 13 years. I still watch for the odd few guys that I think are class, and on the hope that is gets better one day.

 

Good to see Rock working with a great in-ring wrestler. It'll benefit both hugely IMO.

 

McGillicutty is a beast, another person who should be on TV, whether or not he can talk or not.

 

Put him into a team with a good talker. No idea who though.
