ahhhh I trust MVP I think Shelton will be back at rumble and I really hope for number 30 to be Colt Cabana

 

i doubt they'd give n.o 30 to someone not part of the roster

 

I think they have signed him or will be signing him! (Mabye its more hope)

 

i reckon mark henry will return at number 30

 

can't see it happening, he doesn't need the job or the money, would love him in WWE though, and as Colt Cabana, not Scotty Goldman.

 

When is the Rumble?

Who are the champions at the moment? Is the Rock back? He's been hitting the steroids by the looks of him these days.

Yes, he returned last Monday and has a title match at the royal rumble vs CM Punk.



Unfortunately, yes.

 

Everyone is always slamming the WWE writers, Sp I'd like to see how people would write up their own scripts for the Rumble and their matches for Wrestlemania.

I'll write mines as soon as I'm home.

Sounds fun! I always do that sorta stuff anyway so I'll post up my script for RR and RTWM when I'm outta work

 

Here goes nothing:

WWE Championship match between Rock and Punk at the Rumble, have Lesnar return when the ref is knocked down or something and take out Rock. Punk gets the cover and the victory. Lesnar escapes through the crowd and isn't seen until the next night on Raw.

The next night, Rock comes out and talks about Lesnar and the history they have together (Summerslam 2002). Rock says that Lesnar obviously has a problem with him and they should settle it like men at WrestleMania, so that Rock can get revenge for Brock costing him the title at RR. At this point, Lesnar has officially joined Punk, Heyman and the Shield as one big stable. Lesnar accepts the challenge and Rock/Brock is official.

As for Punk, he obviously retains the title at the Rumble and says that he has nothing else to do. He has conquered WWE, held the title for well over 400 days and has defeated the likes of Rock, Cena, Bryan, Kane, Jericho, Ziggler and Del Rio. He says that no one can stop him. Cue the infamous gong and the return of Undertaker. Taker says that Punk has been yapping on about respect for the past year or something and that if he wants respect, he has to earn it like everybody else and not always take the easy way out. Taker says he has never taken a shortcut in his career and has faced up to every challenge facing him like a man, which is true. Taker says that in order for Punk to truly call himself the 'best in the world', he has to do what no man has ever done before and beat him at WrestleMania, with the title on the line. Punk accepts and the second match is on. Punk/Taker. Streak vs Title.

There you go. That took me less than five minutes and I've given you two matches and storylines that could very well make WM29 one of the best of all time. I've not decided what the likes of Cena and Triple H will do, but you still have the likes of Ziggler, Ryback, Kane, Bryan, Del Rio etc left over that can have good matches/feuds with both men in the lead up to WrestleMania.

I personally wouldn't mind seeing a Cena/Bryan one on one feud and a match at WrestleMania between the two. Cena could even put Bryan over as the next big star of the company, as Cena isn't going to be around forever and they need to start thinking about creating new stars. I think they already know this and that explains Ryback's massive push in the last few months.

 

Can't really top what Shane has said there but for the RR I'd have Ryback/Brian win and then they go on to face Del Rio and Ziggler at WM29 in a triple threat match for the WHC, Ziggler being involved by cashing in the MITB at WM29 for the first time, which actually looks like might be whats happening, so you have three of the stars of the future all squaring off for the WHC at WM29

EDIT - I'D have jericho(maybe a long shot) come back as a face and start a rivarly with wade Barret over the IC title concluding at WM29, giving Barret that extra push and also bringing back the prestige that the IC belt should have

That small entrance way in the arena isn't there anymore, MSG got renovated and they removed it.

 

- WWE officials actually discussed going against Brock Lesnar's planned dates and have him work the January 7th RAW but obviously decided against it. Lesnar isn't expected back until February.

- A source confirms that we will indeed be seeing more than just a few familiar WWE faces in this year's 30-man Royal Rumble main event. It was recently rumored that WWE was planning to bring back some midcard talents and some of those same names were on a list for surprise Rumble entrants.

- Tommy Dreamer's name was brought up in a recent WWE creative meeting about a surprise entrant in this year's 30-man Royal Rumble match.
