Doubt it will be available to see man, due to it being a dark match, and only a small crowd.

 

Any reason for Punk's new pink trunks? He only started wearing them at SummerSlam. I thought it might have been in homage to Randy Savage or something, especially since he also does the flying elbow from the top rope.

While tweeting during tonight's Rock-Cena special on NBC, The Rock revealed on Twitter that he was injured in his WrestleMania 28 match against John Cena. Rock posted a photo of Cena doing the top rope leg drop on him with the following caption, noting that he tore his right hamstring:



"Cena leaps 15ft & crashes down on the back of my neck - tearing my right hamstring. Intense pain.. #IFinishedTheMatch"

The opening match of last night's RAW live event in Cape Girardeau, MO saw Tyson Kidd defeat Tensai. After the match, Tensai cut a promo and issued an open challenge to anyone in the back. This brought out WWE NXT star Big E. Langston. Langston went on to defeat Tensai in one of his first WWE live event matches.

Injured WWE Superstar Evan Bourne says he is looking forward to challenging new United States Champion Antonio Cesaro upon returning. He tweeted:

“Congrats to the new United States Champion @AntonioCesaro! I can’t wait to heal up and challenge you. USA! Chants? Very likely!”

 

- Wade Barrett was back in action at last night’s WWE live event from Cape Girardeau, MO. Barrett cut a promo before the match about he’s the toughest fighter to ever step foot in a WWE ring. Barrett went on to squash Curt Hawkins.

 

Fully expect Barrett to win the World Title or the WWE Championship when he returns, depending on which show they put him on. I know most of them flit between both shows now anyway, but until they do away with the brand extension and unify both World Championships, you will always have one group of wrestlers fighting for one or the other.

With both Mark Henry and Wade Barrett coming back soon, hopefully things will start getting more interesting again. Henry has been teasing a feud with Triple H.

 

I think Barrett will return at NOC!

 

A program between Barrett and Punk for the WWE Championship would be excellent.They have some history too, as if you remember, Punk kicked Barrett out of Nexus at the very beginning of 2011 and took over as the leader.

I know it would leave Cena at a loose end, but you could stick him in some meaningless feud with Del Rio or something, just to keep the kids happy. Actually, the more I think about it, Cena and Ziggler have never really had a feud with each other.

 

I think Barrett destroying Sheamus at NOC then Ziggler cashing in MITB sets up Sheamus vs Barrett and you could move Ziggler vs Orton!
