    - It appears that Edge is going to let his contract with WWE expire on Monday. The 2012 WWE Hall of Famer was reportedly offered a new deal to remain exclusive to the company and didn't sign it.

It was reported earlier that Edge will be appearing at the Resistance Pro Wrestling show on May 11th in Chicago.

Sabu was rushed to the hospital before a scheduled event tonight in Pennsylvania ... TMZ has learned.

Cops in Travose, PA tell TMZ they were dispatched to a hotel for a medical emergency, but wouldn't elaborate. The manager at the hotel where Sabu was staying tells TMZ the staff there felt the wrestler was intoxicated when paramedics were called

A rep for the event tells TMZ, "Sabu was found unresponsive in his hotel room earlier today when event staff went to his room to pick him up for tonight's show. Management is currently awaiting results from his doctors to find out what actually happened."

The rep continues, "All we know is that he had prior health issues that might have been a contributing factor. We're pulling for him and are very concerned for his health. We wish him the best of luck in his recovery."

It took me a minute to realize what was wrong with that screenshot from WWE.com :56:

Fecking idiots. We all know Santino is going to win, as it's the pre-show and him and Miz haven't even been in a feud, but at least attempt to make it look like it's 50/50.

Speaking of the PPV, can't wait for it tonight. No better way to end a day of Hunskelping than seeing Brock smash Cena :50:

Lesnar better destroy Cena, and Punk better win, been up since yesterday and staying up to watch this, talk about lack of sleep.

I have a feeling that Extreme Rules may actually end up being better than WrestleMania tonight. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed WM immensely and thought it was one of the best WrestleMania events I've seen in a long time, but everything is in place for WWE to put on a really special show tonight, if the booking team get everything correct.

You have the marquee match up first of all, in Lesnar/Cena, with it being Brock's first in eight years. Punk/Jericho in the street fight will be a potential show stealer, especially with Punk being in front of the rabid, hometown Chicago fans. The atmosphere should be amazing tonight, as the Chicago crowds are always on fire.

Finally, Bryan/Sheamus and Orton/Kane will hopefully bring some good action. I'm especially excited for the former, as it feels like ages since we've seen a two out of three falls match in WWE and both Bryan and Sheamus are capable of pulling it off. DBD's technical wrestling style complements Sheamus' brawling style very well.

Better than WM? 'Taker won't be there, nor HBK or HHH, or the Rock.

    So, no. It won't.

Lesnar is an intense guy and will bring a great deal of enthusiasm to the night, but he's not in the same league as the other wrestlers that were at WM.

All good points. It may have been an exaggeration to say that it could be as good as WM was, but my point was, most of the matches on the card are the same ones that were on the WrestleMania card and they may get even more time tonight, due to the fact that a good portion of Mania is spent promoting things and doing stupid backstage segments, involving guest performers and the like.

More time will be devoted to the actual in-ring product tonight, hopefully.

I don't want to build it up, mate. My expectations for pretty low to reasonable.

The Sheamus-Bryan match should, at least, be better...as it's 2 out of 3 falls. :56:

The Punk-Jericho match should be another highlight.

I'll be watching a stream, definitely. Not sure it'll be live or not, as I may be busy.

Does it not go through right away when you order it on Box Office?

I've never waited until the last day before ordering it, always buying it a few days in advance, but I wouldn't imagine it taking that long.

I usually buy my PPV's about an two hours or an hour before it starts, never had problems.

Anyway, after what has already been an amazing day, I hope the WWE puts on a great show tonight.
