Just watched the Raw from last night. Glad Kane managed to get out of the John Cena AA is it called now? Used to like Cena but when it comes to him v Kane its Kane every day of the week. Interesting bit at the end with Undertaker and Triple H. Triple H basically saying "nut noway"

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the Undertakers wig yet.

It will still happen regardless. Apparently, it's been scheduled for months.

I thought at first he looked less built than usual but I imagine that's just his age. As much as I love the guy, if he retires after WM then I wouldn't blame him, he's past it.

Same here, seemed to be skinnier i thought aswell.

Good raw to kick off the road to WM.
Bryans really stepped up with the heel persona and his match with punk was excellent, i do think theres been a * up behind the scenes with jerichos return, they gave him a huge build up for 4 weeks and it culminates in a codebreaker to punk which was predictable.
I wasnt wanting to see another HHH v taker tbh because i thought last years effort was poor basically just hitting finishers on eachother left , right and center after 20 mins, needs better pacing this time.
    Taker return was great though.

they probally changed their plans for jericho to annoy all the internet wrestling fans they done the same with brodus clay he was meant debut as a monster heel and destroy everyone but he debuted as the funkasuras and if you were on internet wrestling forums at that time all they did was complain and argue with each other like huns on rm

The Rumble was pretty disappointing. Too many comedy marks. Michael Cole? * off! If anything it really showed up the dearth of talent on WWE's books or at least Creative's constant * ups the with writing of strong gimmicks/characters for these guys. In saying that, I was very happy to see Sheamus win it. He's worked pretty * hard this past year to get over.

Punk v Ziggler was very good, but they booked Ziggler as being very weak with him getting pinned 4 times. Unfortunate for him that he was just a side issue in the Punk v Johnny Ace feud. He'll be finished in the main event picture for now, especially after Orton beat him clean without any hassle.

Raw was decent. Punk v Bryan was excellent. Daniel Bryan has really come into his own with his mix-up of babyface/heel persona. I think he's class. Be good to get him away from the Big Show and Mark Henry and give him someone closer to his size to work with.

    Punk v Y2J feud is a go - CLASS!

Got to say, I wouldn't be too excited for an Undertaker v HHH match at Mania. The ending on Raw was superb though, what with HHH saying he'd put his past problems behind him and then - BOOM! Taker out of nowhere to offer a challenge at WM, which Hunter seemed to say, "I don't do that anymore", but seemed reluctant to walk out. Very interested to see where this leads.

Triple H said on the Raw after WrestleMania last year (4/4/11) that he'd be waiting for Undertaker when the Deadman finally returned.

I don't know if they are thinking we're stupid and we've forgotten all about that, or if they're going to continue from there. Seems strange to have HHH say that last April and then have him walk out on Undertaker on Monday though, making us wait for at least another week.

The odd thing about the Rumble was the lack of moves performed, even by the more innovative guys such as Kofie. Randy Orton performed a backdrop, two powerslams, and that was the most we'd seen a wrestler perform for about a twenty minute period. Ridiculous.

I'm not asking for hugely innovative moves (the WWE is moving away from that; the resignation of John Morrison was the pinnacle declaration of their direction), just a little more convincing stuff that punching and slapping.

I, for one, don't think actual wrestling matters that much in the Rumble match. For me, the main attraction of the Rumble is the annual surprise returns (Road Dogg and Hacksaw Jim Duggan this year) and of course, finding out who will go on to main event WrestleMania and compete for one of the major titles.
