This week's WWE SmackDown, featuring a Falls Count Anywhere match between Nikki Bella and Natalya plus a 10-man battle royal to crown a new #1 contender to WWE Champion Bray Wyatt, drew 2.792 million viewers. This is up 6.3% from last week's 2.626 million viewers for the post-Elimination Chamber episode.

Drew Galloway, who is the current TNA Impact Grand Champion on TV, took to Twitter on Sunday and announced that he is parting ways with the company as his contract recently expired.

The former WWE Intercontinental Champion debuted on Impact Wrestling in January 2015 and later won the World Heavyweight Title in March 2016. He lost that title in June of that year but won the Impact Grand Title in January of this year. A taped Galloway vs. Moose match with the title on the line will air on this week's Impact episode.



The final RAW before WWE Fastlane will take place tonight from the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Confirmed for tonight's show is a sitdown interview with Seth Rollins, who will discuss Samoa Joe, Triple H and more. RAW will also feature Bill Goldberg returning to promote his Fastlane match against WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens. Goldberg's WrestleMania 33 opponent Brock Lesnar is also scheduled for tonight's show.

Beth Phoenix to be inducted into WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2017

Beth Phoenix, one of the most dominant female competitors in sports-entertainment, will take her rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame when she is inducted as part of the Class of 2017 during WrestleMania 33 Week. The news was first reported by USA Today.

Phoenix first arrived in WWE in 2006, brutalizing Mickie James and aligning herself with fellow WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus. Unfortunately, a jaw injury forced Phoenix to the sidelines just weeks after her debut. She returned to Monday Night Raw more than a year later, ready to dominate the competition. Possessing great beauty and power, Phoenix dubbed herself “The Glamazon” and went right to work.

Within months of her return to WWE, Phoenix captured the Women’s Championship and dominated the division for months, muscling around the competition with ease before planting opponents face-first into the canvas with her patented Glam Slam. She also was part of an unlikely, yet infamous power couple with Santino Marella. The duo, dubbed “Glamarella,” found great success, often in spite of the wacky antics of The Milan Miracle. In fact, it was Phoenix who won herself a second Women’s Championship and Marella the Intercontinental Title in a Winner Take All Tag Team Match at SummerSlam 2008.

Phoenix went on to capture the Women’s Championship once more, as well as the Divas Championship before stepping away from the ring in 2012. On top of her championship glory, The Glamazon was a pioneer, truly showing what women could do inside the squared circle. Phoenix was the second woman ever to enter the Royal Rumble Match, eliminating the towering Great Khali in the 2010 edition of the 30-Superstar, over-the-top-rope melee. She wasn’t afraid to throw down in a hardcore match and even took part in the first ever Tables Match to feature women at WWE TLC 2010.

And now, Beth Phoenix is blazing a trail toward sports-entertainment immortality, as she enters the WWE Hall of Fame.

Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned Broken Matt and Jeff Hardy will NOT be signing new deals with Impact Wrestling … and it’s because they felt disrespected during contract talks.


Sources with direct knowledge tell us the Hardy Boyz agreed to terms on a new deal back in December, but needed a few minor changes, and were simply waiting for the finalized offer.

We’re told the deal was supposed to be for 1-year in length. Weeks and weeks passed, with Matt constantly checking in, but they were consistently given the run around.

Eventually Matt and Jeff’s lawyer told Impact Wrestling officials that they wanted a creative control clause in their new deals … which was shot down immediately. One source says their lawyer told Ed Nordholm there was interest from other companies and he responded by saying, “Well, tell them to go to WWE then.”

This set Jeff Hardy off, who at that point said he was no longer interested in re-signing. Matt continued talks, but when they sent a new contract last week it was now a 2-year deal and terms had been snuck in which stated they’d receive 10% of all his profits outside of Impact.

Matt’s lawyer said he’d be a fool to sign, so he informed the company he wasn’t interested in doing so — but would still come to the tapings to write off his characters. However, he was told he was crazy to think they’d want him on TV without a contact.

We’re told Impact officials are currently trying to get their tag titles back.

 

Hope this Steph-Mick angle has a good pay off, getting sick of seeing her castrate him in promos every week.

Monday's WWE RAW, featuring advertised returns by Bill Goldberg and Seth Rollins with the final Fastlane hype and a Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman contract signing in the main event slot, drew 3.093 million viewers. This is down 4% from last week's 3.216 million viewers.
For this week's show, the first hour drew 3.127 million viewers, the second hour drew 3.233 million viewers and the final hour drew 2.918 million viewers.

Confirmed for SmackDown is Luke Harper vs. AJ Styles with the winner facing WWE Champion Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania, Becky Lynch vs. Mickie James in a 2 of 3 Falls match, Apollo Crews vs. Dolph Ziggler in a Chairs Match and John Cena on MizTV. 205 Live will see WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville give his State of 205 Live Address.
