Hmm. Starting to look more like it now. Quite looking forward to it, given how incredible The Witcher 3 is.
Still not sold on Cavill as Geralt, though. The Thumb likes this. -

Really surprised at how good that looks. Was certain they'd blow it. Hopefully lives up to that trailer. Spotted Johnny Dogs from Peaky blinders too.

Sign of confidence from Netflix.. -
Henry Cavill is too pretty to be Geralt, too clean.
Mads, although he perhaps look more the part i don't think is actually all that good an actor but that's not to say Henry is any better.
But by * am I looking forward to this big time -

4 episodes in and it’s been decent so far. Bit cheesy at times. Episodes 1 and 3 were great. 2 and 4 less so.
Fight choreography is excellent and to be fair, Cavill is a pretty good Geralt. Interested to see how they’ll tie up the three different plots due to the difference in tone/story.
Have to say, every time it leaves Geralt’s story for Yennefer or Ciri, I just want it to go back to Geralt. More Witcher pls.neilly1987 likes this. -

I'm actually interested in all 3 of the stories, definitely helped having played the game on ps4 so I'm maybe much more interested in the characters than I otherwise would be if I didn't have any knowledge of them. Btw theres a scene in ep3 which I think is more * anything even GOT dared to do.

Not played the games, maybe an hour of w3...this is a bit pants, feels like it was made in the 90s.

Finished it last night.
Overall it was pretty enjoyable. The acting was good for the most part, the creatures were well done (albeit it could have done with having a few more of them), and the fight scenes were mainly very good.
The cheesiness in the middle episodes and the weird timeline were the main problems. Hopefully next season it’s a bit darker with more of Geralt doing Witchery things. -

Finished ep4, probably the weakest out the ones I've seen albeit arguably the most important cause it sets everything in motion.
I actually dont mind the time jumps, kinda like trying to piece everything together without being hand held. -
Going to start on this soon.

Yennefer bugs me for some reason, just seems a bit whingy and tantrumy. Not enough Geralt. But otherwise enjoying it.
Just me being picky. -
Started watching it yesterday. Got halfway through episode 4 and switched off.
Utter garbage.
