i love it,need to get back into it myself, still do a few yoga stretches before a workout, but no done any classes or home youtube vids in a while..been neglecting it recently as I'm trying to bulk up.busy with weights & swimming.

the yoga helpd me get through a bad patch my first year of the drink & drugs my head was bursting, its a great anxiety & stress reliever and most people can do it.it can also be as hard or as easy as you like it to be.

Wish i could do that, im too figgity. I suppose it takes alot of practice and discipline. I have tried it myself i found it was a good way to clear my thoughts for the day but it was also a bit of a battle trying not to think about crazy stuff. I remember we used to do it in school and i was definately one of the worst ones. Overall its not for me i think but im glad i gave it a go, maybe when my thoughts are less wild i can disciplie my mind a bit more and stay grounded if that makes sense.

I get it just after each set of shrugs, it comes and goes. I don't remember getting it for anything else though

Opted for the 6 chilli cheese bites instead of the usual 9 with my Chicken Royale meal today.

Getting back on track this week. Had a pizza hut with the girls on Tuesday and was at a wedding on Friday and didn't train everyday like l normally do. Still somehow under 66kg (probably too light if anything.) One of my mates was singing the praises of pyramid training so gonna give that a bash and salads all week.

Fell asleep after work last night and never got a workout in which was annoying. Had been on the salads all week and keep waking up at stupid o clock in the morning cause it's lighter earlier now, think the lack of sleep and low calories is knocking my pan in.
Done 2 rounds of 12/10/8/6/4 and back up the way of squats and press ups tonight. Arms were like jelly from the press ups. Folk probably do stuff like this as a warm up or cool down before or after a proper workout but I found it hard enough on it's own :giggle1:

    https://stronglifts.com/5x5/

Been following this for a over a month or so after a longish time out of strength training. Been excellent so far, increased my squat to 100kg 3 sets by 5 reps from practically the bar... all full depth reps, bench and deadlift also increased from a base starting point.

Mark Rippetoe "practical programming for strength training" available on kindle is a good similar programme, and he has lots of videos on youtube about form etc.

Highly recommend it to anyone wanting to strength train for any sort of sports or just as a general workout. After a certain period of time on this there are then progressive programmes in the Rippetoe book such as the texas method etc.

Done that 12/10/8/6/4 4/6/8/10/12 and back up/down the way with squat/shoulder press and lunge/bicep curls just with light weights I keep at the Mrs' house.
Sweat is pure pishing off me and legs are like jelly. Need someone else to start doing it and see how they find it.
