    I wouldn't be embarrassed about going to the gym mate.

    Whenever I see someone struggling at the gym or out running I just think good on them for actually going and trying to get fit. Better that than sitting at home doing nothing.

    Still can't really train cause of these ribs and it's doing my head in. That's been two weeks now and no improvement, if anything it feels worse! Spoke to NHS 24 last week and they said it was perfectly normal as it's a sore injury and hard to rest and can take a few weeks to heal but surely there should be some improvement by now?
    Apologies as this isn't strictly what the thread is for but if anyone has had anything similar any help would be great!

    The ribs are a bit of a pain in the * because every time you get up or even take a deep breath you're feeling pain and using the muscles.

    For me I just had to take it easy for a few weeks and eventually it came good.

    Mate it's brutal, even reaching for something at work or coughing or sneezing make me want to cry. Just have to ride it out I guess.

    *,innit, what's the verdict? Ended up going to hospital after work on Friday. Broken apparently, barrel of laughs and probably not much exercise for a few more weeks now.

    Was thinking of starting a gym & was wanting to take my 13yr old boy. The only place i can find is the Glasgow club but £50 for us both is shocking

    Started and finished the first week of couch to 5k. Only 7 weeks to go.
    Has anyone on here tried to do it?
    Not ran in about 5 yrs and I'm weighing 14 stone. Think this app will pull me back into shape.

    Managed to get my body fat percentage into the (high) 15s which was my goal for Xmas, * knows how as haven't been able to train or play football for a few weeks but hopefully it stays there!
