Theres no better feeling for me than being fit and enjoying playing football.

Had a * season last year in terms of fitness, playing out of position and generally playing * tbh. Was on the verge of packing it in so many times and you begin to forget why you're even playing in the first place.

The only positive from it was that it motivated me to get properly fit over the summer and now two weeks into the pre season I'm really enjoying it again.

Just been out for a run. Best it's felt in a while. Think I'm fully over the niggling injuries and broken foot now.

Pretty crazy, since cutting out processed foods and dairy since last Saturday/Sunday I've lost 5lbs so far.

Bad news is that I seem to have a lot of fluid build up in my left elbow and it's pretty * sore, a constant dull ache.

So done legs this morning and if still sore tomorrow will just do cardio

Does dairy really make that big an impact on weight? I only really have a drop of skimmed milk with my tea, but I * love cheese and would eat it most days. Should that be cut down/out?

Depends on the individual really, everyone's body reacts different to things like dairy, carbs etc

I love cheese as well, just thought it's maybe been a staple in my diet for too long.
