    Was back pre season training on Thursday and we were given very basic diet/nutrition plans.

    Apparently supposed to drink 5 litres the day before a match. Id say I drink about 1.5 litres at best.:56:

    5 litres? seems a tad excissive :giggle1:

    I aim to drink a minimum of 2 a day, usually about 3, don't think I could do 5 tbh.

    Does anyone on here play in the MANvFAT football league in Glasgow?

    It's how I started getting active again and have lost about 35lbs since January.

    Pretty sure I first heard about it from someone on here a while back.

    Did a bleep test at training tonight and managed to get 13 on it. Pretty happy with that, the last time I did one at the beginning of pre season I got about 8.

    Doing another one in two weeks so hopefully see an improvement.

    Went a run and done some sprints tonight. In a bit of a rut and struggling to get back into any sort of routine after holiday and my mates stag. Nothing drastic just struggling to find time or motivation to get workouts in. Diet is appalling too. On something like 600 calories a day and always shattered.

    Hiked Mount Yamnuska today. Did Lady Macdonald all the way to the summit last Sunday. Getting off the girl * and focusing on myself. Time to gain some * weight, could knock me over with a stiff breeze :giggle1:

    So i finally reached my weight goal of 13 stone 7, could of been less but i was a lazy * for a few weeks so that didn't help. Been trying to get into the weights again but i can't seem to do it. Might no matter anyway since i reached my original goals but anything extra is positive:50:

    P.s not too sure if i'm allowed to directly link on this forum, but i'd recommend myfitnesspal for those trying to lose weight, brilliant wee tool which helped me wonders during the start.

    I'm actually not sure tbh, I'll ask next time we're doing it.

    I think it was probably 15m as it felt a bit easier than what I remembered it being.

    Changed my diet a bit, switched to slighter higher protein intake, cut out processed foods (cheat way of getting fat on keto) and have eliminated dairy for the most part from my diet.

    Already seen a noticeable change this past week.

    On the training side of it been doing a 4 days split routine.

    Mon- chest and bicep/ 20 mins HIIT
    Tues- back and abs/ 20 mins HIIT
    Wed- cardio 45 mins moderate jog/run
    Thursday- shoulders, tris, abs /20min HIIT
    Friday- legs
    Saturday- 10k run if I can be *.

    Hit a few PBs this week on my incline bench and deadlift.

    Heading in the right direction and keeping consistent, just wish my diet was as consistent as my training at times.
