Just back from a week in florida eating ribs, wings, steaks, turkey legs, bloomin onion, battered shrimp, chocolate fudge cake, pulled pork etc...!

Need to get back to the gym on monday! Wasn't quite at the BF% i wanted to be in florida, around 13%, anyone got a good 4 week workout programme to see some strength gains but also trying to get BF down to 10% or under?

I'm morbidly obese, but I've lost a stone and a half since end of January there. I can't wait to be just obese :56:

Just back from Belfast after playing my first game of waterpolo in over 6 years. Didn't miss a game in 20 years before moving to England. Lost 12-7 and am in bits today. Back training with a London club now. I've missed it!

Cheers Mark. It's a great sport, my club Setanta were formed in early 90s I joined not long after. Growing up we cleaned up on all the u-16 and u-19 all Ireland comps. Was a great feeling. Now we're are struggling to stay in the top division in Irish senior league (hence me being drafted in from London ) just about scraped together a team :giggle1:

Dexascan would be most accurate , weight staying the same and losing fat you are " recomping " by losing fat and gaining muscle , sounds like you are on the right track.

was doing a lot in the gym but didnt seem to be getting anywhere.started hammering the swimming and * me,4 weeks of swimming has done more for me than 4 months in the gym weightlifting.going to stick to the swimming from now on.

lost a lot of weight past year, but been stuck on same weight for months now, also with the swimming its starting to fall off and tone me up at the same time.finally getting sumwer after months of hardly no results.

Aye Disney, all 4 parks. Been going on and off for near 15-20 years. Nowadays i love going for the food and alcohol as much as the parks!

Went swimming tonight after work, partly inspired by your post, done my ankle ligaments playing football a few weeks ago so this is ideal until it gets strong enough to run and play football again. Really good workout!

In Aldi today and picked up a few hike bars... 50p each I think they were. 19g of protein, bit high in sugar though.

Had the chocolate one, wasn't too bad tbh. Quite moist and decent tasting.

I signed up to my local gym the other week and I get full use of the pool so I'm planning on doing the same as you.

Basically a full body workout and I've always enjoyed swimming.

Finally found the sweet spot in my diet for now and also switching back to intermittent fasting has worked a treat

Down 3lbs last week, went on a crazy binge last weekend and still down a further 2lbs this week

Hopefully see sub 170lbs by the end of the month

I tend to go 11/12 to 6/7/8 depending as my shift start and finish times are so varied.
