I'm definitely gonna keep at it.

After all these years of football and gym work with next to no care given to my posture or flexibility, it's the way forward I think

85.7kg. Down almost four stone in six months. If I keep on track, I'll hit my goal on 9th April.

It shouldn't necessarily be the case here, though; I'll still be doing 500 calories fewer than the RDA just from eating less, plus I cycle and walk just about everywhere which is another 5-600 calories burned. There might be peaks and troughs, but I should be able to maintain a 2lb loss per week average until I get to my target.

Can't seem to lose any weight for the life of me no matter what, diet and macro intake has been spot on need to switch something up.

constantly floating about 177-180lbs trying to get below 170.

Saying that I know it's not all what the number says on the scale as my body is defo leaner which leads me to my next question.... how the * do you get an accurate indication on your bodyfat?

I have scales that read it but I know they are never accurate but last week it says I was 19% then this week I was 24% so I know they are duff

I have bodyfat calipers and as far as I am aware they are the most accurate, measured myself this morning using the jackson pollock method taking a pinch of your *, thigh and belly and my results were 12%.... I know for a * fact I am not 12% :giggle1:

Any other methods? I hear in the states you can go to clinics that put you in a machine and scan your body and give you a precise measurement of bodyfat, would be cool if there was things like that here.

anyway also kinda done my back deadlifting this morning... I never learn to warm up properly.

Get someone to give you a hand and do the 7-point calliper test. Maybe get a more accurate number that way.

So probably sitting around 15% after doing it again and some other measurements.

Going to get back on intermittent fasting as of tomorrow and drop my calorie intake down during the week.

Also know I need to up my activity levels during the week (difficult in my job) but in my previous job I was still knocking out like 30k during the week.

I've said it before but I'll say it again. I'm not a rep or that, but musclefood is really great.

We've used it twice now getting the £55 bundle. The chicken * are massive with little to no crap on them, the burgers, steaks and sausages are all delicious too. You save a fair whack on what you would spend on meat on your weekly shop.

Also had a pizza last night that tasted great, and the whole thing was only 500 calories.

Had bundles from there a few times, been good overall. Some of the things they bung in with it weren't great though like the chicken sausage and the strip steaks were like old boots. They gave us a tub of walden farms barbecue sauce for free one of the times after we complained about the steaks, stuff was cracking.

Can only do dog walks and weights until my broken foot is fully healed, going on a long one this morning. Trying to get back to a better level of fitness.

Had a gym induction this morning. Never been to a gym before and it was a little bit daunting and intimidating :giggle1:
Might just stick to the swimming and climbing instead.

Been getting bored just training in a commercial gym so been looking for PT sessions or a martial arts club. A lot seem to be money making exercises though wanting monthly payment (50-60 quid or higher) for gyms offering muay thai/conditioning/MMA type training, and PT's only willing to take on client's who will book blocks of sessions.

A bit of a * because I know a few people who train at martial arts gyms in Ireland and England etc and their classes are significantly cheaper per month for arguably better facilities. I think demand is high and supply low in Glasgow though so they can set higher prices and still get the numbers in. If anyone has anyone recommendations of any MMA/Fundamental training type gyms or decent PT's let me know :50:

Ended up taking the dogs out for a 2 and a half hour walk today. I know it's not strenuous exercise but it's better than * all while my foot recovers.

Anybody recommend a good mass builder ? I'm using trec nutrition whey pump extreme just now but thinking about moving to a mass gainer for a few months before going back on the protein.

Was looking at this optimum nutrition serious mass.

I'd more inclined to run a test cycle tbh than mess about with all that
