lennon saying the squad would be good enough whether invesmtent is made in JAnuary or not - sounds like he knows there's no money.

Same old, same old. Not one critical question, and not one answer that wasn't taken from a previous Word template document.
It's when you look at that you get * that you know there will be no defender in Jan. We need at least 1 CB, not much of an ask is it? £1million for a decent CB? It is possible.

 

Maybe just maybe at the end there'll be a chance for some to ask the hard questions we all want answers to.

 

I made the point just earlier this morning in a thread, saying that it's vital that we find a team that's capable of winning games and be consistent when picking said team. Glad to hear this

 

funnily enough the first two resolutions to do with 'finances' and 'directors bonus' are quickly passed

 

i maybe alone maken this point but i dont lay all of the blame for our lack of sucess with the board far from it actually,lenny brought nearly all off the current team in and thats alot of players to bring in,he has said on a number of ossacions hes happy with the squad so u must ask where the blame lies,the board who let him buy a new team?or the man who picks this new team??

 

The board have been to blame for 4 seasons now - their has been a sheer lack of investment - there's only so much Lenny can do.

 

same old * as always being said drive for success but wont spend any money how do they think were going to win the spl ?we have a poor squad at the moment

 

Someone asking why Desmond has lost interest since we realised that we weren't getting in the EPL - been a couple of questions now that the Celtic website aren't reporting.

 

How much money though has Lenny spent in total on what? 12-15 new players?
We had a net profit last season while bringing in all those players, and spent £3million in summer there on 2 players.
So with this whole new team it basically cost Lennon nothing going by net spend.
One of the main prblems, well mine, of the summer was not selling the *.
OUr wage bill is too high especially while it is basically accomodating below average squad players.
Primary target in Jan is to bring in a good defender and get rid of some of hte *

if reid said that then it's disgraceful; not to mention £600 for that guy will likely be a lot of money whereas to desmond thats how much he probably spends grooming his moustache every day

 

With Reid on his way out the door, at least the Green Brigade can hang their banner the right way up now.
