I grew up in some shiteholes, Drumchapel, Possil, Ruchill, Castlemilk but Drumchapel now is a true shithole.

The * got ripped out that place in 91 when they pulled down two of the three high schools and merged them into the remaining one. anyone wishing to have a Catholic education had to travel to the next town.

The place is now a part ghost town and loyalist shitehole, with the local orange hall being one of the "highlights" of the drive through the place.

Lurgan is alright. Craigavon is one the worst places in Ireland and needs wrote off. Having grew up in Portadown, I can attest to some parts being rough, but for the most part it's OK for an Irish town.

but just from driving to Greenock jail and looking at the place, Greenock is a * dump.

Stayed in a few houses in the Drum, been out of there 20 years now though.

I actually don't know one person from back then who still stays there.

Niddrie In Edinburgh is a shitehole, felt like I was in chernobyle, everyone seemed to have something wrong with them! Tucked away behind arthur seat so the tourists don't see it

Not the worst place, but whose idea was it to have tower blocks in townhead? area is literally a few minutes walk from george square you think they would have just sorted out the old tenements like in dennistoun?

Might be why it's been named
    "uk city of culture 2017"

It's the new "must have item" instead of block paving or garden gnomes

Had some banter down there on occasions.
