Wouldn’t mind seeing Bellingham and Mbappe linking up in an already very strong team. Vini Jr there as well. You think on a purely career level it’s well past the time for Mbappe to level Paris now, he’s stayed longer than expected

Most of their players on 20k plus, a fair few on 50k plus. I'm sure he'll be earning ok. Fenerbache are only in Conference league this season though but the following season Turkey have 2 CL spots and a EL spot

See I know Madrid are still spending big... but it goes to show what they've done other the last few seasons to prepare for life away from Modric and Kroos.

Getting in Camavinga, Tchouaméni and Bellingham over the last what? 3 years? That is incredible stuff.

Then you see the sheer stupidness of how transfers are going in EPL and clubs like Forrest and Chelsea have been up to. The forward planning is night and day

Barella would be a * incredible signing for Newcastle.

Surely no way they get him for just 50m.

Technically, ignoring wages... City got Haaland for around that figure.

Also aren't Newcastle also linked to Chiesa?

I'm not saying they will be title challengers but it is hilarious that no one outside Newcastle gives them any "respect" for where they will be sitting in the league table moving forward if they start making those type of signings.

All about Arsenal, Man Utd (If they also get dirty money), Liverpool coming back, Chelsea coming back, * even Brighton get talked about now alot (rightly to be fair)...

But the horrible truth is, it is likely going to be Newcastle that challenge Man City going forward

Not sure what the point of it would be...

But I wouldn't be surprised at this rate if Real Madrid went in for Rice so they had 4 solid options for central midfield positions.

Rice I feel is a tad overrated but he's still decent, I dunno why I just don't see him playing for any other EPL unless it was Man City or Newcastle purely because of money and future trophy aspirations.

Camavinga Bellingham Valverde and Tchouameni seem pretty solid enough to me mate…

That’s not even mentioning Kroos and Modric.

Modric leaving/retiring end of next season. As good as those young guys are none of them can do what Modric does. They may grow into it like he did though.

Even at 37 I genuinely don’t know if here’s another player on the planet that can do what Modric does to be honest.

Walker in advanced talks to Bayern.

Wishful thinking but here's hoping City then go in with £50mill or more for frimpong

Agree on the Madrid point, although the PSG side. The squads they’ve had since he’s been there they’ve definitely under performed in Europe. Last year with messi should have been their year. And I think mbappe knows that and is why he’s voicing discontent at how messi has felt like he needed to leave France.

would love to see that front line of vini mbappe and Rodrygo, pure attack

How are city managing to shift these older players for good sums too. Although they’ve been insanely backed by wealth. They are so smart on their transfers. And constantly selling youth for good fees too

Mbappe at Madrid with the attacking talent they have would be akin to Halaand going to City in the EPL
