It's an absolute kick in the nads for Juve. Leaving the dominant team in the country to go to rivals.

That's the type of lad these fannies down south should be going for. Rock solid and world class centre half versus your Michael Keane's of the world.

Good for Italian football overall though, a weaker Juve and stronger Milan could see a 4 way battle for the League between them and Roma and Napoli. Nocunts been close to Juve for years. Be good to see Milan back in the CL again, as I think 4 teams from Italy go in automatically again next season and these sigings should put them clear above Inter, Lazio and that.

This makes sense, Allegri and Bonucci already had a bust up during the season and Alves had his contrac cancelled before he went to PSG.

Still tho this is very much Milan's gain. If they can get Biglia and possibly Belotti in then they'll have a really top team next season, maybe not enough to challenge but possibly enough to get the back in the Champions League.

5 year contract for Bonucci no doubt and wouldn't be surprised to see him captain with a 32 year old Montolivo maybe starting to be phased out if they keep signing folk

£280 million Guardiola will have spent at City when Walker completes his move.

Not exactly a Pep type full back. Dani Alves, Lahm, Kimmich etc. He isn't the type of player I could imagine running in to central midfield or with excellent link up play. His final ball is atrocious. Trippier has a much much better final ball/delivery and general passing. Just that Walker is a supreme athlete, who will not stop bombing forward all day..

I predict he'll be in good positions and * up a helluva lot of promising flowing City moves..

5 mill Chalobah signed for Watford. Now that's quality business for a quality young player and makes a mockery of a lot of the business that's gone on down here during this window..

So about 60 mill get's you Bonucci and Rodriguez from the 2 best team's in Europe (champion's league finalists) but in England it'd just about get you Sigurdsson. Ok..

I reckon that's why alot of the top, top players don't bother their arses with the EPL. Your Xavis, Iniestas, Bonuccis, etc.

They know it's alot of hyped up * with average guts going for 10s of millions. The standard is nowhere near your Bayern, Real or Barca or even your Dortmunds and Atleticos.

If the money keeps growing then these top players won't ignore it. At the moment Bayern and Barca etc can match the wages. Once they can't they'll be off.

Agreed. You never know in transfers but in general he ticks all the boxes you'd hope for in a Barcelona fullback. Plus, as Benfica fans will attest to - he was a key cog to their team

Moreover, thrilled not really so much about the fee amount but the fact that this ridiculous board failed in trying to overpay for the overrated Bellerin or Cancelo

Now if they can only land Seri as consolation to Verratti then not a bad summer

Bayern are actually quite frugal when it comes to wages, by big club standards. It's one of the reasons why they gave up on Alexis Sanchez.

Their top guys, Lewa, Robben, Ribery, are 'only' on €160,000. Vidal, Neuer and Muller are on €150,00. All could make a shitload more in England or at Real/Barca (think Kroos leaving for more money).

Bayern pay well but have a number of guys in the same 90-150k ballpark, as opposed to the Barca/Real model of having guys in the 200k+ or 300k+ territory (Neymar, Suarez, Messi, Ronaldo, Bale, etc). Bayern's strength comes from being able to offer mid-tier depth guys like Medhi Benatia 90k to sit on the bench, they still baulk at Sanchez wanting 300+.

I never understood the Bellerin link! Apart from the obvious, with him being a Barca boy, he is nowhere near the quality required.

Semedo seems a much better fit.

Infuriating for a good portion of the fanbase too but fortunately that ship has said, I am fully behind Xavi's recent comments about pursuing cantera players that left via the back door - just say no!

Love Hector's speed and was a big loss when he was poached by Wenger at the time Toral was also taken but his window of opportunity has passed

Semedo is really the only RB I could say I was hoping for, all others seemed to lack one thing or another - whether he comes good is a different issue but it's a promising acquisition
